A practical guide to putting together a branded advent calendar: 24-window filling ideas, packaging constructions, price benchmarks and deadlines.
Advent calendars with your logo are one of the few corporate promotional products that the recipient uses for 24 days in a row, not just once. In practice, this is a two-part project: packaging (a printed cardboard box with 24 windows, a set of bags, or a wooden frame) and filling (sweets, tea, mini promotional products, coupons). As a rough guide, expect 12–18 EUR per piece for a printed cardboard calendar only, at a quantity of 100 pcs, and 20–35 EUR per piece with full filling, excl. VAT; orders need to be confirmed by mid-November so calendars reach customers by 1 December.
Who needs an advent calendar with a logo
This format works well if you want your brand to stay visible throughout December: on a desk at the office, on a kitchen counter at home, or in a school classroom. The most common clients are companies with 50–300 regular customers, sports clubs (a calendar for the team and supporters), cafés and shops (a calendar as a sellable product with its own design), and municipal events.
The main difference from a regular gift: a calendar requires earlier planning. The filling needs to be arranged into 24 positions, each needs its own spot, and the practical deadline for printing is the first half of November.
Filling options
Sweets and drinks
A classic: chocolate pieces, caramels, dried fruit, tea bags or coffee portions. The advantage is a low price per unit and a uniform size, which allows the use of a standard 24-cell insert. Food items always need ingredient and allergen labelling; we print these as small stickers on paper or PP film, including translations.
Mini promotional products
If the company wants a more distinctive gift, 8–12 small items go into the 24 windows, and the remaining days are filled with sweets or cards. A cell usually fits an item up to roughly 60×60×40 mm: a keyring, a reflector, a pen, a cable holder, a seed packet, a small candle. It's convenient to choose from the small gifts category, where prices start from a few euros per piece.
Coupons, QR codes and content
The cheapest and easiest filling: 24 cards with a discount code, a task, a question, or a QR link to a video. We print the cards in digital printing on 300 g card, with its own number and design for each day. This is often combined with 4–6 physical gifts on weekends.
Hybrid option
The most popular solution for the 2026 season: 14 days of sweets, 6 days of small items, 4 days of coupons. The average price per calendar stays in the 20–28 EUR range, but the content looks varied.

Prices are indicative and depend on cardboard thickness, number of windows, print area and print run. At 300+ pcs, the price per piece usually drops by 20–30%.
Printing, files and artwork
Cardboard calendars are printed in full-colour digital or offset printing; for fabric bags and pouches, we use screen printing (simple logo, larger print runs) or DTF transfer (full-colour image, small print runs). Numbers 1–24 are usually handled as stickers or as part of the overall print.
Please send files as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), in CMYK, with raster images at 300 dpi. We send the artwork with the full 24-window layout for approval by email; on request, we also prepare a 3D view with your logo so you can see the calendar before production.
Deadlines: what to do in October
Early October is the right time to start. A realistic schedule for December delivery:
- by 20 October – construction type and filling list chosen;
- by 1 November – artwork approved and order placed;
- 4–7 business days for production (printed items) plus 2–3 days for delivery; assembling the calendars with the filling takes a further 3–5 business days depending on the print run;
- 20–25 November – finished calendars delivered to you or shipped to your customers.
Our own printing (cards, stickers, packaging elements) takes 1–3 business days, so the delivery of the filling items is what determines the overall timeline. Urgent jobs in November are considered on a case-by-case basis.
