Sale Posters and Stickers for Shops: Black Friday 2025

Sale posters for Black Friday (which falls on 28 November this year) should be ordered by 14 November, since the standard production time is 2–5 business days depending on format and quantity. As a guideline, an A3 poster on 170 g coated paper starts from around 3 EUR per piece for small runs and from around 1.20 EUR for runs of 50 and more; shop window stickers with contour cutting start from around 20 EUR/m² (prices excl. VAT). We also work with single pieces, though the price per unit drops significantly for larger quantities.

Year-end calendar: what to order and when

Late October and early November is the most logical time to sort out all your sale decor in one order — it's cheaper than three separate deliveries in December.

If your order reaches us after 20 November, we can usually still help with digital printing and posters, but contour-cut film and large-format banners already need more time.

What a shop actually needs

In practice, most shops and cafés in Latvia manage with six elements:

• Window stickers — large numbers ("-30%", "-50%") on glossy or matte self-adhesive film with contour cutting, without a rectangular background.
• A1 or A0 poster at the entrance — the main sale announcement.
• A3 posters at shelf ends and the till — 10–30 pieces for a medium-sized shop.
• Round or square stickers on products and packaging, Ø 40–70 mm.
• Roll-up banner stand — if you take part in fairs or have a spacious entrance area.
• Flyers or cards with the sale terms and expiry date.

Matte film reflects less in shop lighting and is easier to read up close; glossy film gives more vivid colours and works better on glass viewed from outside. You can browse all printed products in the printing services section.

Stickers: how long they last and how to remove them

Black Friday stickers are a short-term material — applied for 2–6 weeks, so there's no point paying for long-lasting film with a 5-year warranty.

On glass

Standard monomeric self-adhesive film with contour cutting is sufficient. Applying it on the inside (mirrored) protects it from rain and dirt. A warm hairdryer and adhesive remover solution help when taking it off.

On floors and counters

Here you need laminated film with an anti-slip surface — without lamination, the print on a floor wears out within a few days.

On products

Round stickers with the sale price are best ordered in rolls or sheets with an easily removable adhesive, so they don't tear the packaging.

Files: how to avoid rework

We expect vector graphics — .ai, .eps or .pdf, in CMYK colour space. For raster images for large-format printing, 100–150 dpi at actual size is enough; an A3 poster needs 300 dpi.

• Convert fonts to outlines or attach them separately.
• Leave a 3 mm bleed margin and a 5 mm safe zone from the edge for text.
• Create black backgrounds (common in Black Friday materials) as rich black: C40 M30 Y30 K100 — otherwise it looks grey and blotchy.
• Prepare large formats at 1:1 or 1:10 scale, clearly indicating the scale used.

If you don't have a design, we can adapt your existing artwork to a new format or lay out the text on a simple sale template. A completely new design needs to be agreed separately and requires an additional 2–3 business days.

What to add to your sale besides paper

At the end of the year, many clients combine sale materials with gifts for loyal customers and staff. Keep in mind that lead times for promotional products in November are longer than for printing — typically 5–10 business days from artwork approval, so plan gifts at the same time as your posters, not afterwards.

Yes, we also work with single pieces. A single A1 poster starts from around 9 EUR excl. VAT, but for 20–50 pieces, the price per unit drops by more than half.

Can window stickers be removed without leaving marks after the sale?

Yes, if you use short-term self-adhesive film and remove it within 2–3 months. Glass usually doesn't show marks; if the film has been up longer or in direct sun, an adhesive remover may be needed.
