Construction Season Materials: Site Signs, Workwear, Vests
A practical guide for construction companies: which construction season materials to prepare in advance, how much site signs and banners cost, and how to print workwear and vests.

Construction season materials – site signs, logo workwear and vests with your company name – should be ordered 2–4 months before sites open in spring, as production times get longer right at the start of the season. Our printing (stickers, posters, banners) takes 1–3 business days, while promotional products and printed clothing usually take 6–10 business days. November–February is the most convenient time to sort out quotes, artwork and print runs without any rush.
What construction season materials include
In practice, construction companies refresh four things before the season: site branding, workwear, safety equipment markings, and office/representation materials.

- Site signs and information: PVC banners on fencing, information boards, warning and directional stickers, posters in site cabins.
- Workwear: T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets and caps with a logo on the chest and back.
- Safety vests: printing or embroidery with the company name so it's immediately clear on site which subcontractor each person belongs to.
- Representation and day-to-day site items: business cards, technical passport folders, stamped stickers for marking materials, thermal mugs and torches for crews.
Site signs: banners, stickers, boards
For site branding, PVC banners (510 g/m²) with metal eyelets are the most common choice – they withstand one or two seasons outdoors. For smaller signs on containers, fence panels and car doors, vinyl stickers with contour cutting work well; for indoor information, an A2–A0 poster is usually enough.
Indicative prices excl. VAT (the exact amount depends on size, quantity and finishing):
| Product | Typical size | Indicative price |
|---|---|---|
| PVC banner with eyelets | 200×100 cm | from 25 EUR/pc |
| PVC banner, larger | 300×150 cm | from 50 EUR/pc |
| Vinyl sticker with contour cutting | 50×30 cm | from 10 EUR/pc |
| Warning stickers on sheets | 100×100 mm, 50 pcs | from 0.35 EUR/pc |
| A1 poster, 200 gsm paper | 59.4×84.1 cm | from 8 EUR/pc |
| Roll-up 85×200 cm with case | 85×200 cm | from 95 EUR/pc |
If you have several sites with the same branding, it's more cost-effective to print everything in one go – the price per piece for banners and stickers drops from as few as 5–10 pieces. For more on formats and materials, see large-format printing and banners, roll-up.
Workwear and vests: which printing method suits what
In construction, clothing is washed frequently and gets very dirty, so the durability of the printing matters more than just the price.

| Method | Suitable for | From how many pcs | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Screen printing | T-shirts, sweatshirts in large quantities | from 30 pcs | Lowest price per piece, 1–4 colours |
| DTF transfer | full-colour logos, small batches, vests | from 1 pc | Also works on polyester and textured fabrics |
| Embroidery | polo shirts, jackets, caps | from 10 pcs | Most durable option, up to 90×90 mm |
| Sublimation | polyester sports shirts, mugs | from 1 pc | Only for light-coloured polyester fabrics |
Safety vests
Signal vests are usually printed with DTF transfer or embroidered on the pocket area. Important: the print must not cover the reflective tape – place the design between or above the tape strips so as not to reduce the visibility area. If you supply your own vests, we can print on your material only; in that case, it's useful to send 1 piece for a test print.
Standard print placement
- Left chest – 110×90 mm (logo).
- Front and back – up to 280×210 mm (the back usually has the company name and phone number).
- Sleeve – 80×60 mm.
- Embroidery – up to 90×90 mm.
Clothing models can be chosen from the categories T-shirts, hoodies and workwear, while printing options are described in the clothing printing section.

Timelines, files and planning
Our printing – stickers, business cards, posters, banners – is ready within 1–3 business days after artwork approval. Please send files as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), CMYK; raster images at 300 dpi. If your logo is only available as an image from your website, we will redraw it – this is noted in the quote as a setup fee.
We send quotes within one business day: online and as a PDF with product images, prices, print placement, setup fee and timeline for each item. On request, we prepare a 3D preview with your logo so crews can approve the workwear without any misunderstandings.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should construction season materials be ordered?
For site printing, 1–2 weeks is enough, but for clothing and promotional products allow 6–10 business days plus time to collect sizes. If the season starts in March, it's best to place your order in January or February.
Can you print my own safety vests and jackets?
Yes, we also work with customer-supplied materials. We recommend sending one piece for a test to check the fabric's suitability for DTF transfer or embroidery.
How long does a PVC banner on a site fence last?
With normal installation using eyelets and ties, a 510 g/m² banner withstands 1–2 seasons outdoors. If the site runs for several years, it's more cost-effective to print a more durable board or reprint the banner every other year.
Is it possible to order just a few T-shirts?
Yes. DTF transfer works from 1 piece, so you can add new employees' clothing at any time. Screen printing is cost-effective from 30 pieces.
How much does a logo with the company name on the back cost?
Printing up to 280×210 mm in one colour with screen printing starts from approximately 2–4 EUR per piece at 30–50 pcs (excl. VAT), plus a one-off setup fee. You'll see the exact amount in the quote together with the clothing price.
Can you calculate everything – signs, workwear and gifts – in one quote?
Yes, we recommend this: in one PDF you'll be able to compare printing and product items, timelines and the total amount, and we can coordinate delivery in one go.
Send your list of materials to info@attaprint.lv, call +371 25776699 or message us on WhatsApp at the same number – we'll prepare a quote with prices, print placement and timelines within one business day.
