Minimum advertising package for a trades business

A small crew (1–3 people, 1 van) doesn't need a campaign — it needs to be findable and memorable. A realistic starter package looks like this.

Car stickers: what should be there and what shouldn't

We work with outdoor-grade vinyl and contour cutting, so a sticker can be any shape — logo, numbers, a text block. Sticker printing is done from your vector file, with preparation and cutting within 1–3 business days.

On the sides of a van, realistically only a few elements get read. Priority order:

• Phone number — the largest element, digits at least 80–100 mm tall, readable from 10–15 m.
• What you do — "Electrical installation" or "Plumbing repairs". Without this, people don't know why to call.
• Logo and company name — medium size, not dominant.
• Website or WhatsApp icon — if you actually reply on WhatsApp.

What not to include: an email address in tiny letters, a registration number, a full service list in 8 lines. Nobody reads that on a moving vehicle. If the van is leased or can't be permanently covered, ask about a removable solution — we can offer options with a magnetic base or a sticker on a separate plate that can be taken off.

Workwear: what survives the job site and the washing machine

For an electrician or plumber, clothing is the cheapest advertising surface — every client and every neighbour in the stairwell sees it. Garment printing uses four technologies, and the choice depends on quantity:

• Screen printing — cost-effective from 20–30 pcs, one or two colours, very wash-durable.
• DTF transfer — from 1 pc, full colour, good for small orders and logos with gradients.
• Embroidery — for polo shirts, jackets and caps; looks sharp, withstands rough use, area up to 90×90 mm.
• Sublimation — for sportswear and mugs.

Standard print areas: left chest 110×90 mm, front and back up to 280×210 mm, sleeve 80×60 mm. In practice, a small logo on the chest plus a larger logo with the phone number on the back works well for a crew — you're seen even while working at the panel. Models can be chosen from the T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies and workwear categories.

Business cards, service stickers and the small things

We print business cards digitally from 1 pc up to large runs, in 1–3 business days. For a trades business, thicker card stock (350–400 g/m²) with matte lamination works well — a card in a pocket full of tools doesn't look worn out after a week already.

It's also worth ordering service stickers separately: a small sticker with your logo, phone number and date, stuck on the panel, boiler, water meter or under the sink. When something leaks a year later, the client doesn't search the internet — they see your number. The same logic applies to warranty and instruction stickers. Paper stickers for indoor use are the cheapest option; for damp rooms and near boilers, use PP film or vinyl.

If you take part in markets, homeowner events or open an office, a roll-up banner stand or banner or a beach flag comes in handy — you can set it up by the job site or in the car park.

Files, turnaround times and how an order works

Send your logo in vector format (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), colours in CMYK; raster images need at least 300 dpi. If all you have is a JPG from an old business card, let us know — redrawing can be included in the quote.

Turnaround times: our own printing — stickers, business cards, posters, banners — 1–3 business days. Promotional products and printed workwear usually take 6–10 business days (production 4–7 business days depending on quantity + 2–3 days delivery). Urgent jobs by arrangement.

For outdoor-grade vinyl, realistic service life in Latvian conditions is several years, provided the car isn't washed with a high-pressure jet aimed directly at the sticker edges from close range. Paper stickers aren't suitable for cars — those are for indoor use only.

What should be written on a service sticker by a boiler or panel?

Company name, phone number, type of work performed and the date or next service month. We leave a blank space for the date so it can be filled in with a marker — that way one print run lasts the whole year.
