Festival Merch 2026: T-shirts, Wristbands and Stickers — A Guide

What and how much to order for your festival merch stand: T-shirts, stickers, wristbands and summer promotional products, with guideline prices and lead times.

Festival and concert merch: T-shirts, wristbands, stickers

In practice, a festival merch set for the summer season is built around three items: printed T-shirts (guideline price from €8/pc at 50 pcs), die-cut stickers (from €0.25/pc at 500 pcs), and event wristbands for visitor identification. Production time after artwork approval is 2–5 business days for stickers and 5–10 business days for printed T-shirts and promotional products, so for events in late June and July, files should be submitted at least two weeks before the gates open. All prices in this article are guideline prices, excl. VAT, and depend on quantity, material and the number of print colours.

T-shirts: screen printing or DTF

The choice between technologies depends on print run and design. Screen printing becomes cost-effective from roughly 50–100 pieces with one or two colours — a typical festival logo with name and year. DTF transfer makes more sense for small runs, full-colour images, and cases where you need 15 T-shirts in six different sizes.

Practical tips from working with event organisers:

  • For crew T-shirts (technical staff, security, volunteers), choose a back print at least 25 cm wide — that's legible from 10–15 metres away.
  • For merch intended for sale, a typical size breakdown is roughly S 10%, M 25%, L 30%, XL 25%, XXL 10%.
  • Dark cotton T-shirts need a white underbase for DTF, which slightly changes the price — the difference is usually €1–2 per piece.

For more detail on materials and print areas, see the T-shirt printing page.

50 pcsfrom €9/pcfrom €10/pc
100 pcsfrom €7.50/pcfrom €9/pc

The price includes the T-shirt and one print location. A second print location (front and back) adds roughly €1.50–3 per piece depending on quantity.

Wristbands: who actually needs them

At a festival, wristbands serve two purposes — access control and souvenir. Printed fabric and silicone wristbands are not a standard item in our regular range, so we prepare them separately on request; a realistic lead time is 2–3 weeks, and the minimum order usually starts from 500 pieces. If time is tighter, the fastest solution is vinyl wristbands or numbered control stickers, which we can produce in 2–5 business days.

When planning quantity, allow an 8–12% buffer on top of tickets sold — some wristbands get damaged while being put on or are handed out to staff.

Stickers: the cheapest merch with the highest return

Stickers are the only merch item that costs under €200 at 1000 pieces and disappears from the stand within the first few hours. We work with matte and gloss vinyl film; die-cutting lets you cut out the logo shape without a rectangular background. For outdoor use (on bottles, boxes, cars), we use laminated material that withstands moisture and sun.

10 x 10 cmfrom €1.10from €0.45from €0.32

Sticker sheets with 6–10 different designs on one A5 sheet are a cost-effective option for a festival stand — one sheet costs less than three separate stickers. Specifications and material options are summarised on the stickers page.

Summer products with logo printing that round out the merch stand

In June and July, the items that sell and move fastest are the ones that solve a specific problem — sun, rain, heat and thirst. From our catalogue, these are the usual picks for festivals:

  • Ziva disposable rain poncho with storage pouch, 8 colours, digital sticker printing — a must-have item for an outdoor event.
  • Glastonbury 300 ml reusable plastic cup, screen printing on round surfaces or pad printing — works well with a deposit system at bars.
  • Sipzy collapsible water bottle, 480 ml, 5 colours, digital sticker or pad printing — takes up little room in a pocket.
  • Rosie SPF 30 sunscreen with carabiner, 6 colours — clips onto a bag strap.
  • Vision sunglasses, 5 colours, digital printing or pad printing — the most popular photo prop at the stand.
  • Aervia and Ventio portable fans made from recycled plastic, also available with full-colour doming sticker — a good VIP area gift.
  • Varyon GRS recycled shoulder bag with bottle pocket, 6 l and Trip Aware™ travel shoulder bag, 1 l — DTF transfer, suitable for volunteer kits.
  • Squeeky hand soap, 6 colours — a practical item for sanitary stations.
  • Thule EnRoute water bottle holder with fixed embroidery — the premium souvenir for a sponsor gift box.

Lead times and how to avoid the seasonal queue

Workload during the summer season peaks from mid-June to late July. Realistic lead times after artwork approval:

ProductStandard lead time
Stickers, flyers, posters2–5 business days
T-shirts, DTF, up to 100 pcs5–7 business days
Screen printing, 100–500 pcs7–10 business days
Promotional products with logo printing from catalogue7–10 business days
Wristbands on separate request2–3 weeks

We take on urgent jobs by arrangement — some items can be ready sooner if the artwork is finalised. Files must be submitted as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf) in CMYK colour space; raster images need at least 300 dpi at actual print size.

Frequently asked questions

How many T-shirts should I order for a festival with 2,000 visitors?

Merch intended for sale usually covers 3–6% of visitors, which is 60–120 T-shirts. On top of that, factor in staff and volunteer kits — usually 30–60 pieces. For the first year, it's safer to order a smaller run and top up with DTF as needed.

Do you print just one T-shirt, or a few?

Yes, we work with single pieces too. In that case, we use DTF transfer, since screen printing would require paying for screen setup.

How long do stickers last outdoors?

Laminated vinyl film keeps its colour outdoors for roughly 2–3 years; unlaminated film lasts one season. Lamination isn't essential for festival souvenir stickers, but we recommend it for banners and signage markings.

Can you print on T-shirts I supply myself?

Yes, provided the material is suitable for the chosen technology. In such cases, we don't take responsibility for defects caused by the fabric itself, so we ask for 2–3 extra pieces for a test print.

How do I order T-shirts, stickers and logo products together in one delivery?

Send us the list of items and artwork by email — we'll prepare a single quote with one combined lead time, so all items are ready before the event. The full range of printing services is available in the shop section.

Send us the event date, approximate quantities and artwork to info@attaprint.lv or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote within one business day.
