Branded fitness products for sports clubs: yoga mats and more

A guide for sports clubs: yoga mats, resistance bands, towels and bottles with your logo — materials, printing methods, indicative prices and lead times.

Yoga mat with a logo for a sports club

Branded fitness products for sports clubs usually come down to four items: a yoga mat, a sports towel, a water bottle and resistance bands — covering both training needs and serving as a gift for membership buyers. In our catalogue, yoga mats are available in recycled TPE (3 colours) and cork, with indicative printed prices starting from around 18 EUR for a TPE mat and 30 EUR for a cork mat (excl. VAT, for an order of 50 pcs). The standard printed turnaround is 5–10 business days, with urgent jobs available by agreement.

How to choose a product set for your club

In practice, a club's order usually splits into three tiers. The first is low-cost items in large quantities (wristbands, skipping ropes, bands), handed out to all members or used at marathons and open days. The second is mid-priced items (towels, bottles, waist bags) given to annual membership buyers. The third is gifts for trainers or competition winners: a cork yoga mat, a running vest with a hydration system, a smart ring.

The key question to settle before pricing is which material the logo will go on. Polyester and TPE take DTF transfer well for full-colour designs, cork is better suited to laser engraving or embroidery, and round plastic surfaces work best with screen printing or pad printing.

Yoga mats: TPE or cork

Recycled TPE

The Virabha mat made of recycled TPE is lighter, available in 3 colours, and the more cost-effective choice for group classes or a branded gift in larger quantities. DTF transfer adheres well to the TPE surface, so the logo can be full-colour with gradients. Screen printing on TPE suits simple single-colour logos and is cheaper for large quantities.

Cork

The Trikona cork yoga mat is heavier and has a natural-material look — it's more often chosen as a gift or for sale at the club's reception area. A neutral, single-colour print looks good on cork; embroidery in a fixed spot is also available. A logical set is the cork mat plus the Trikona cork yoga ball set (2 pcs) with a laser-engraved logo — matching material and a consistent print style.

Printing technologies and what they mean in practice

  • DTF transfer — full-colour logo on textile, TPE and polyester. Suitable for small quantities, even from 1 pc. No extra charge per colour.
  • Screen printing — single- or two-colour logos for large quantities (from 50–100 pcs), good unit price, durable print.
  • Pad printing and screen printing for round surfaces — bottles, hard plastic items, cork balls.
  • Laser engraving — for cork and aluminium; colourless logo that won't wear off.
  • Embroidery — for towels and the edge of a cork mat; more expensive, but the most visually durable option.

Quantities, lead times and logistics

We also work with orders of 1 piece if the printing method is DTF or heat transfer — useful if you need a sample for approval or a single gift for a trainer. Screen printing and pad printing involve set-up costs, so the economically reasonable minimum quantity is around 50 pcs.

Lead times: catalogue products with printing are usually ready in 5–10 business days from artwork approval. If a club needs the whole set at once — mats, towels, bottles and T-shirts — allow 10 business days, as different printing technologies are carried out in sequence. For competitions and open-day orders, we recommend placing your order at least 3 weeks in advance.

Clubs often add garment printing and water bottles to the same order so everything matches visually — one logo file, one colour profile, one delivery.

Files and logo preparation

Please send your logo as a vector file (.ai, .eps or .pdf), with colours in CMYK or specified as Pantone. We can use raster files (.png, .jpg) for DTF printing if the resolution is at least 300 dpi at the actual print size. Before production, we send you an artwork proof with the print area and size for approval — work only begins after written approval.

For small items (wristbands, bands, skipping ropes), the print area is limited, so we recommend preparing a simplified version of your logo without fine text elements or thin line weights.
