Sticky Notes with Logo: Formats and How Many Sheets to Choose

In practice, sticky notes with a logo are ordered in six standard formats — 50x75, 75x75, 100x75, 100x100, 127x75 and 150x100 mm — and three common pad thicknesses: 25, 50 or 100 sheets. How to choose a format

The choice of format depends on what's written on the note. If it's meant for a short note — a phone number, a task, a reminder — a small format is enough. If the note is meant for meeting notes or for attaching to a document with an explanation, you need a larger area.

• 50x75 mm (A8) — the smallest practical format. Good for mass handouts and envelopes, as it takes up little space and has low weight.
• 75x75 mm — the classic square. The most versatile option for offices and municipal events.
• 100x75 mm (A7) — enough room for 3–4 lines of text. The most common choice for conference folders.
• 100x100 mm — a large square, looks good on a desk together with a notebook and pen.
• 127x75 mm — the elongated format, convenient for lists and for sticking to the edge of an A4 sheet.
• 150x100 mm — the largest standard size, practical in workshops, kitchens, and service centres where orders are noted down.

How many sheets to choose per pad

The number of sheets directly affects the price and how long the product stays on the client's desk. A 25-sheet pad is thin and gets used up within a few weeks — good if your goal is repeated contact. A 100-sheet pad lasts for months, but costs more and is heavier for postal shipments.

Prices are indicative for quantities starting from 250 pieces; the exact price depends on the quantity, sheet count and extent of printing. At 1000 pieces, the price per unit usually drops by 25–40%.

Printing: how many colours and where

Sticky notes use roll offset printing — including full colour, so a logo with gradients and photographs isn't a problem. Printing can be:

• On every sheet — the logo is visible throughout the entire use of the pad. The most visually advantageous option, but the design needs to be light so there's room to write on the note.
• Only on the first sheet or cover — cheaper, suitable for models with a soft cover.
• Full bleed across the whole sheet — if you want a coloured background; a 2 mm bleed allowance is needed.

Practical tip: place the logo and text at the top or bottom of the note, leaving at least 60% of the area blank. The paper colour affects perception — a dark blue logo works well on bright yellow paper, while a red logo disappears on an orange background.

File requirements and turnaround times

Please submit your logo as vector graphics — .ai, .eps or .pdf, in CMYK colours. If you have corporate Pantone colours, specify them so we can match the shade as closely as possible. Raster files (.jpg, .png) are only usable if the resolution reaches 300 dpi at actual size.

The standard turnaround time for printed sticky notes is 5–10 business days from artwork approval. For smaller quantities with digital printing on paper, 5–7 business days is possible. Urgent jobs are assessed separately — since the event date is usually known in advance, we recommend placing your order at least three weeks before distribution.

How much to order

When calculating quantity for an event, take the number of participants plus a 10–15% reserve. For a conference with 200 participants, that means 230 pads. For an office with 30 employees, 60–90 pads (two to three per person) is usually enough for a year's needs. If the quantity is under 100 pieces, compare the price with a digitally printed option — sometimes it's more cost-effective than offset setup.
