Summer Event Promotional Products: Bottles, Caps, Sunglasses
A practical guide to putting together a summer event bundle with your logo: bottle, cap and sunglasses from around 8 EUR per person, with production taking 5–10 business days.

Summer event promotional products usually come down to three basics — a water bottle, a cap and sunglasses. A bundle like this with a single-colour logo for a batch of 100 pieces costs around 8–14 EUR per person (excl. VAT), and production with printing takes 5–10 business days. For events in June and July, we recommend confirming your order at least two weeks ahead, since demand for seasonal products peaks in late May and early June.
What makes up a functional summer bundle
At a summer event — a sports day, city festival, client picnic or team gathering — only the items people actually pick up and use right away make a difference. In practice, that means: something against the sun (cap, sunglasses, SPF cream), something against thirst (a bottle), and something to carry it all in (a cooler bag or tote bag).
A classic three-tier breakdown:
- Mass item (for all participants): sunglasses, a plastic or aluminium bottle, a simple sun hat.
- Mid-tier (team, volunteers, VIPs): a cotton cap with embroidery, a snapback, a cooler bag.
- Add-on: SPF cream, stickers with the event logo, numbers and posters for signage.
You can browse the full range of these products in our promotional products section — the catalogue shows all available colour options.
Caps and hats: what to choose
A cap is the longest-used item from a summer bundle — people keep wearing it after the event too. The most frequently ordered options from our catalogue:
- Solaris 175 g/m² sun hat — cotton, 6 colours; a classic wide-brim style for outdoor events and children's camps.
- Solaris 130 g/m² polyester sun hat — 5 colours; lighter, dries faster, works well for water sports.
- Wicklow 240 g/m² Aware™ recycled sun hat — cotton and polyester, 5 colours; denser fabric that holds its shape longer.
- Ares 6-panel cap, 175 g/m² — 5 colours; the lightest everyday cap, with a front panel well suited to embroidery.
- Drift Snapback 260 g/m² 6-panel cap — 5 colours; flat brim, dense fabric, popular with sports clubs.
- Hera 175 g/m² sun visor — 4 colours; a visor-style option without a crown.
- Bright cap with a see-through brim — 4 colours; an eye-catching option for volunteers and teams.
Embroidery is the best printing method for caps — it doesn't crack, holds up to washing and looks great on 175–260 g/m² fabrics. For smaller quantities or multi-colour logos, we use DTF transfer instead. See the full range in the caps and hats section.
Sizes and logo area
For embroidery on a cap's front panel, the realistic usable area is usually up to 100 × 50 mm, and up to 60 × 40 mm on a side panel. For wide-brim sun hats, we place the logo on the front brim or on the side. Logos with fine detail are simplified before embroidery — we'll let you know about this before production.
Sunglasses: the cheapest way to reach every participant
Sunglasses are the only item you can give to 500 people without a big budget. Available from our catalogue:
- Sun Ray sunglasses — plastic, 9 colours, digital printing or pad printing.
- Sun Ray two-tone sunglasses — 5 colours; frame and arms in different colours, letting you get closer to your brand's colour palette.
- Vision sunglasses — 5 colours, digital printing or pad printing.
The logo usually goes on the arm — the print area is narrow (around 40 × 6 mm), so a name or a simple mark without fine details works best. If you want a colourful logo, choose digital printing; for single-colour text, pad printing is enough and it's cheaper.
Bottles, cooler bags and SPF cream
A water bottle is the most practical part of the bundle: it's used all season long, repeatedly putting your logo back in people's hands. See material and volume options in our water bottles section — sports events usually go for 500–750 ml, while office and conference bundles tend to use screw-cap sealed bottles.
Cooler bags work well for picnics and outdoor café formats:
- Spectrum cooler bag for 6 cans, 4 l — 6 colours, screen printing.
- Oslo cooler bag with 2 zippered compartments, 13 l — 5 colours, DTF transfer, screen printing or heat transfer.
- Lighthouse non-woven cooler bag, 21 l — 4 colours, the largest volume for a team lunch.
As an add-on, there's the Rosie SPF 30 sunscreen with carabiner (6 colours, digital sticker) — a low-cost item that gets used right away at a beach or stadium event.

Files, printing techniques and timelines
Please send your logo as vector artwork (.ai, .eps or .pdf), in CMYK or with specified Pantone shades. If you only have a PNG or JPG, we'll redraw it as vector — for simple logos this usually takes around 1 business day.
Timelines after artwork approval:
| Job | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Sunglasses, bottles, cream | 5–10 business days |
| Caps with embroidery | 5–10 business days |
| Cooler bags with screen printing | 5–10 business days |
| Urgent orders | by arrangement |
Before production, we send you a digital proof showing the print placement and dimensions. For embroidery, we can also prepare a physical sample on request.
Frequently asked questions
How much lead time should I plan for a summer event in June?
If your event is in mid-June, the order should be confirmed at least 10–14 days ahead. Production itself takes 5–10 business days, but demand for seasonal products is high in late May and early June, so we check colour availability at the time of ordering.
What's the minimum order quantity?
We can work with even a single piece, but for promotional products with printing, an economically sensible minimum usually starts at 25–50 pieces, since setup costs are spread across fewer units.
Can sunglasses have a colourful logo printed on them?
Yes, with digital printing. Keep in mind that the print area on the arm of the glasses is narrow — about 40 × 6 mm — so fine details and thin text won't be legible.
How do I choose between embroidery and heat transfer for caps?
Embroidery is more durable and suited to simple logos with 1–4 colours, from around 25 pieces. DTF transfer is more cost-effective for small quantities or when the logo has gradients or photographic elements.
Can you assemble bundles into bags?
Yes. We can put together bundles (for example, sunglasses + cap + bottle in a tote bag) by arrangement; the cost depends on the bundle contents and quantity, usually 0.30–0.80 EUR per bundle.
Send us your number of participants, event date and logo at info@attaprint.lv or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote with several pricing options within one business day.
