Tote Bags with Printing: Price, Minimum Order and Turnaround 2025
How much do printed tote bags cost: indicative bag prices from EUR 1.00, screen printing from EUR 1.50/pc, minimum quantities and realistic turnaround times.

Printed tote bags cost roughly EUR 2.50 to 9.00 per piece in total (excl. VAT) — the price is made up of the bag itself (indicatively from EUR 1.00 for a non-woven bag to EUR 3.00 for a 220 g/m² cotton bag) and the printing cost: screen printing in 1 colour from EUR 3.50/pc, from 100 pcs — EUR 1.90/pc, from 250 pcs — EUR 1.50/pc plus a one-off setup fee of EUR 35.00. We also work with DTF transfer from as little as 1 piece, with a standard turnaround of 5–10 business days.
How much does the bag itself cost
The price of the bag mainly depends on fabric density (g/m²), volume and quantity. Below are indicative prices per bag without printing, for orders of 50–100 pcs. For larger quantities (500+), prices drop by 15–30%.

Printing cost: screen printing, DTF or embroidery
The choice of printing method depends on quantity and design complexity. These are the indicative prices from our price list, per bag, for one print position (excl. VAT):
| Printing | 1–19 pcs | from 20 | from 50 | from 100 | from 250 | Setup |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Screen printing, 1 colour | 3.50 | 3.50 | 2.50 | 1.90 | 1.50 | EUR 35.00 |
| DTF transfer up to A4 | 6.00 | 5.00 | 4.20 | 4.20 | on request | EUR 0.00 |
| Embroidery up to 10,000 stitches | 5.50 | 4.50 | 4.00 | 4.00 | on request | EUR 25.00 |
Which one to choose
- Screen printing — most cost-effective from 50 pcs, ideal for a simple logo in 1–2 colours on cotton. Each extra colour means a new setup.
- DTF transfer — full-colour images, photos, gradients; no setup fee, so it also suits 1–20 pieces.
- Embroidery — better for thicker bags (Odessa 220 g/m², Peru 180 g/m², Felta felt, Trace 500 g/m²); durable, but not suited to fine text.

Total price: three real examples
| Order | Bag | Printing | Setup | Total | EUR/pc |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25 pcs Peru 180 g/m², full-colour DTF A5 | 55.00 | 125.00 | 0.00 | 180.00 | 7.20 |
| 50 pcs Madras 140 g/m², screen printing 1 colour | 80.00 | 125.00 | 35.00 | 240.00 | 4.80 |
| 100 pcs Odessa 220 g/m² 13 l, screen printing 1 colour | 300.00 | 190.00 | 35.00 | 525.00 | 5.25 |
All amounts are excl. VAT and indicative. It's clear that the setup fee has a significant impact on the price per piece for smaller quantities — at 50 pcs it's EUR 0.70/pc, while at 250 pcs it's only EUR 0.14/pc.
Minimum quantity
We work with as little as 1 piece, but this only makes economic sense with DTF transfer, which has no setup fee. Practical minimums:
- DTF — from 1 pc (for example, a sample before a larger order).
- Screen printing — technically from 10 pcs, but recommended from 30–50 pcs so the setup fee doesn't make up a large share of the price.
- Embroidery — from 10 pcs.
- Catalogue bags — individual colours and models are delivered in packs of 10–50 pcs, so for large quantities you'll need to adjust to the packaging steps.
Turnaround times
The standard turnaround for printed tote bags is 5–10 business days from artwork approval. Breakdown:
- bag delivery from the catalogue — 2–5 business days;
- preparing screen printing stencils — 1 business day;
- printing and drying — 2–4 business days depending on quantity;
- large orders (500+ pcs, multiple colours) — up to 12 business days.
We can speed things up by arrangement; if the bags are in stock and the printing is DTF, a realistic turnaround is around 5 business days. For events, plan your order at least 2 weeks ahead, as the most popular colours tend to sell out quickly in warehouses during the summer season (May–June).
What files to submit
Printing requires vector graphics: .ai, .eps or .pdf with text converted to outlines. For screen printing, specify Pantone colour codes; for DTF printing — CMYK. If you only have a .jpg or .png, we can redraw your logo for approximately EUR 15–25 depending on complexity.
The standard print area for 7 l bags is about 20 × 20 cm, and for 13 l bags and larger — up to A4 or 30 × 30 cm. We send a digital mock-up before production, and we don't start work without your approval.
Frequently asked questions
How much do 100 tote bags with a logo cost?
With a 140 g/m² cotton bag and 1-colour screen printing, approximately EUR 4.00–4.30/pc, or around EUR 420 in total (including the EUR 35.00 setup fee), excl. VAT. With a 220 g/m² bag — around EUR 525.
Can I order just 10 bags?
Yes. With DTF transfer, 10 bags is a perfectly normal order — printing costs approximately EUR 6.00/pc with no setup fee. Screen printing in that quantity costs more due to the stencil setup.
