Car Wrapping in Riga: Partial and Full — Prices and Timelines
Car wrapping in Riga: partial wrapping from 0.5 to 6 m² of vinyl, full wrapping for a passenger car 15–22 m². Vinyl from EUR 19/m², contour cutting EUR 8/m².

Car wrapping in Riga practically splits into two options: partial wrapping, where a logo, contact details and a slogan are placed on the doors, rear or rear window (usually 0.5–6 m² of self-adhesive vinyl), and full wrapping, where vinyl covers the entire body (15–22 m² for a passenger car, 25–35 m² for a van). We produce stickers on matte or gloss self-adhesive vinyl for approximately EUR 24/m² (from 5 m² — EUR 22/m², from 20 m² — EUR 19/m², excl. VAT), with contour cutting at approximately EUR 8/m². Production time is usually 2–5 business days depending on volume.
Partial wrapping: what it includes
Partial wrapping is the most common solution for Latvian company car fleets, as it's the cheapest and fastest option. In practice, it's one or several contour-cut stickers placed on the front doors, side panels and rear doors.
Typical sets:
- Minimal option — logo and contacts on both front doors and the rear: 0.8–1.5 m² in total.
- Medium option — logo, slogan, website, phone number, list of services: 2–4 m².
- Extended option — large graphic strips along the sides plus the rear: 4–6 m² and more.
For partial wrapping, we almost always use contour cutting so that no rectangular vinyl patch remains visible on the body. Matte vinyl reflects less light and looks better on dark and matte bodies; gloss vinyl is brighter and blends in visually with the factory paint. Both are available in the stickers section.
Full wrapping: volumes and preparation
Full wrapping means vinyl covers all painted body parts, often including part of the glass with perforated vinyl. The area needs to be calculated for the specific car model, but as a guideline: a sedan or estate car 15–20 m², an SUV 18–22 m², a small van (e.g. Caddy-type) 20–25 m², a long high-roof van 28–35 m².
With full wrapping, you need to account for two additional factors. First, the design must be prepared according to the specific car's template (pattern) so that the image doesn't break at the door and wing edges. Second, installation requires a heated space, removal of parts (handles, mirrors, light trims) and 1–3 business days — we agree on this separately depending on volume and car model.
Prices: approximate calculations
The price is made up of the printed vinyl area, contour cutting and installation. Below is an approximate calculation (excl. VAT, excl. installation).
| Volume | Area | Vinyl cost | Contour cutting | Total (print) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Logo + contacts on doors | 1 m² | EUR 24.00 | EUR 8.00 | ~EUR 32 |
| Side set with slogan | 4 m² | EUR 88.00 | EUR 32.00 | ~EUR 120 |
| Extended partial wrapping | 6 m² | EUR 132.00 | EUR 48.00 | ~EUR 180 |
| Full wrapping, passenger car | 18 m² | EUR 396.00 | EUR 144.00 | ~EUR 540 |
| Full wrapping, van | 30 m² | EUR 570.00 | EUR 240.00 | ~EUR 810 |
Price tiers (approximate): up to 5 m² — EUR 24/m², from 5 m² — EUR 22/m², from 20 m² — EUR 19/m². There's no setup fee for stickers. If you're wrapping several cars with the same design, the areas add up and the price per square metre drops — for a fleet of five cars with 4 m² each, the total volume already reaches 20 m², bringing the rate down to EUR 19/m². The exact price depends on the area, the type of vinyl and how many parts need to be cut.
Files and design
The best source material is vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf) in CMYK colour space, with text converted to outlines. For photographs, 100–150 dpi at a 1:1 scale is sufficient — car graphics are viewed from several metres away, so a higher resolution only increases the file size.
If you don't have a design, we'll create the artwork ourselves: for partial wrapping with a logo and contacts, this usually takes 1–2 business days; for full wrapping based on the car's template, 3–5 business days. We always send colours and dimensions for approval before printing.
Timelines and durability
Printing and contour cutting: 2–5 business days from artwork approval; for large fleet orders, we agree on the timeline separately depending on volume.
Outdoor self-adhesive vinyl retains its colour and adhesion for 3–5 years in Latvia's climate, provided the car isn't washed with a high-pressure jet closer than 30 cm and isn't treated with aggressive cleaners. It's best not to wash the car for the first 48 hours after application.
What it's most commonly used for
- Construction and service company vans — contacts and a list of services on the sides.
- Café and delivery vehicles — logo and QR code on the rear doors.
- Sports club and event vehicles — sponsor blocks that need updating over time; for these cases, we make separate stickers that can be re-applied.
- Municipal and school transport — a standardised set for several vehicles in a single order.
Car graphics are often ordered together with other printed products — banners, posters and business cards — to keep the colours consistent everywhere. You can view the full range of printing services in the printing services section.
Frequently asked questions
How much does car wrapping in Riga cost for one passenger car?
Partial wrapping with a logo and contacts — approximately EUR 32–120 for the printed vinyl (excl. VAT), depending on the area. For full wrapping with 18 m² of vinyl, the printing portion is approximately EUR 540; installation costs are calculated separately based on the car model.
Should I use matte or gloss vinyl?
Both cost the same — approximately EUR 24/m² (EUR 19/m² from 20 m²). Matte is more practical on dark bodies and reflects less in photographs, while gloss looks like factory paint and better highlights bright colours.
How long does an order take?
After artwork approval, printing and contour cutting take 2–5 business days. If the design still needs to be created, add 1–5 business days.
Can just one car be wrapped?
Yes, we also work with single pieces. Just keep in mind that for small volumes, the price per square metre is at the highest tier — approximately EUR 24/m².
Can the vinyl be removed without damaging the paint?
Yes, outdoor self-adhesive vinyl is designed for removal. If the car's paintwork is original factory finish and undamaged, the vinyl is removed using heat, and any adhesive residue is cleaned off with a special solvent.
Send us the car model, planned wrapping area and logo file to info@attaprint.lv or WhatsApp +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote within one business day. Other contact details are available here; project manager Madara will also answer questions about installation.
