Car Service Advertising Materials: Stickers, Overalls, Mugs

A guide for car service owners: what stickers, work wear and client gifts to order, how much it costs and how long it takes.

Car service advertising materials: stickers, overalls, mugs

Car service advertising materials fall into three main groups in practice: stickers (service reminder labels on the windscreen, service logo on the door, warning and instruction labels in the workshop), work wear with a logo (overalls, T-shirts, hoodies, caps), and a small gift for the client after service — a mug, keyring or car accessory. At our print shop at Kandavas iela 29A, Riga, stickers and printed materials are made in 1–3 business days, while printing on clothing and promotional products with delivery usually takes 6–10 business days. We send a quote with prices and artwork placement within one business day.

Stickers — the basics to start with

For a car service, a sticker is the cheapest advertising medium that stays with the client for months. In practice, three types are ordered most often:

Panacea 160 g/m² uniseksa īsroku darba blūze
Panacea 160 g/m² uniseksa īsroku darba blūze
  • Service reminder sticker for the windscreen — transparent or white PP film, 50×50 or 60×40 mm, with space to write the mileage and the date of the next service. Printed in black or two colours; usually ordered in rolls of 500–2000 pcs for convenient use at the counter.
  • Logo sticker for the door or glass — vinyl with contour cutting, durable outdoors. Also works as marking for service vehicles and courtesy cars.
  • Technical and warning labels — composition, instruction, translation and safety labels for the workshop, oil canisters, equipment and shelving.

If you work with repackaged spare parts or your own branded fluids, composition and instruction stickers in sheets or rolls come in handy — rolls are more convenient if labelling happens every day.

Work wear with the service logo

Overalls and work shirts with an embroidered or printed logo change how a client perceives the service — especially if the same mechanic receives and hands back the car. Our standard printing positions:

PositionSizeRecommended technique
Left chest110×90 mmEmbroidery or DTF
Front / backup to 280×210 mmScreen printing or DTF
Sleeve80×60 mmDTF transfer
Embroidery (logo)up to 90×90 mmEmbroidery

For workshop conditions — oil, frequent washing at 60 degrees — embroidery on the chest and cap is the most durable option. For a large print on the back (e.g. the service name and phone number), screen printing works better from 30–50 pieces, while for small batches of 5–20 pcs, DTF transfer is more cost-effective, as there's no screen set-up fee. See the work wear and caps sections in our catalogue, or the clothing printing page.

Mugs and gifts for clients after service

A mug with the service logo is the simplest way to stay on a client's mind — it stays in their kitchen or office. We print full colour with sublimation, even from 1 piece, so you can start with a small test batch of 20–30 pcs and scale up later. A thermal mug of 350–500 ml works well as a gift for regular clients or fleet partners.

Another option — practical car accessories that the client uses directly in the car. These work better than generic souvenirs, as the logo is visible on every drive.

What else is useful for a service

  • Business cards and service cards — a card with the next service date works better than just an SMS reminder. We print from 100 pcs; see the business cards and cards section.
  • Banner or roll-up — at the entrance, at a car show, or at a sponsored event. A PVC banner with eyelets or a roll-up stand 85×200 cm.
  • A3/A2 posters in the waiting area — seasonal offers (tyre change, air conditioning refill), easy to swap every couple of months.
  • Lanyards and keyrings — for marking keys in the workshop and for clients' keys after handover.

Files and timelines

Please send artwork in vector format (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), colours in CMYK; raster images at least 300 dpi at actual size. If your logo is only available as a JPG, it can be redrawn — just mention this in your request. After the quote, we prepare an artwork proof with the print placement, and on request a 3D view with your logo; production starts once the artwork is approved by e-mail.

Timelines: stickers, business cards and posters — 1–3 business days; promotional products and printed clothing — usually 6–10 business days (production 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus 2–3 days delivery). Urgent jobs can be arranged by agreement.

Frequently asked questions

How many stickers are worth ordering for service reminders?

If your service handles 100–150 cars a month, the most practical quantity is 1000–2000 pcs on a roll — enough for about a year, and the price per piece is significantly lower than at 200 pcs. A roll is more convenient than sheets, as the sticker can be peeled off in one motion.

Does embroidery on overalls withstand oil and frequent washing?

Yes, embroidery is the most durable option for workshop conditions — the thread doesn't crack or peel off after washing at 60 degrees. The limitation is size: up to 90×90 mm and a simplified logo detail, since fine lines and gradients don't work well in embroidery.

Can I order just a few mugs or T-shirts as samples?

Yes. We do sublimation mugs and DTF printing from 1 piece. A test batch makes sense before a larger order — you'll see the actual colours and size on the specific material.

What kind of printing suits car accessories?

For parking clocks and similar plastic items, pad printing or single-colour screen printing is used; for a fabric organiser, DTF transfer. In these cases, the logo needs to be prepared in a single-colour version, without shadows or gradients.

How much does a roll-up banner stand cost for a service reception area?

A roll-up stand 85×200 cm with print costs from approximately 75 EUR excl. VAT, with production taking 2–3 business days. If you're planning seasonal offers, it's more cost-effective to order one stand and later just replace the printed banner strip.

Do you prepare the artwork if I only have a logo?

Yes. From your logo, we prepare an artwork proof with the print placement and size, and on request a 3D visualisation on the specific product. The artwork must be approved by e-mail before production.

Send us your logo and approximate quantities at info@attaprint.lv or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote with prices, print placements and timelines within one business day.
