Bar merchandise with logo: glasses, bottle openers, coasters, shirts
A practical guide for bars: which branded bar merchandise withstands washing and daily use, minimum order quantities, lead times and indicative prices.

Branded bar merchandise falls into two practical groups: items that stay in the venue and go through the dishwasher (glasses, coasters, bottle openers), and items worn by staff (shirts, polos, aprons, hoodies). For the first group, the printing method matters most — screen printing with kiln-fired paints on glass, and pad printing or laser engraving on metal, withstand hundreds of wash cycles, whereas adhesive stickers are a solution for a single event. For staff clothing, screen printing and embroidery withstand 50+ washes at 40°C; production time for promotional products with printing is usually 6–10 business days, while our own print products (stickers, coasters, posters) take 1–3 business days.
What a bar actually needs, and in what quantity
Experience with bars, cafés and restaurants shows that a first order usually covers four to six items, not everything at once. The logical order is:

- Staff clothing — 2 shirts or polos per person plus 1 hoodie or sweatshirt for evening shifts. For 10 staff, that's 20–30 pieces.
- Coasters (bierdeckel) — a consumable item; realistic monthly volume is 500–2000 pcs.
- Branded bottle openers — some stay behind the bar, some go out as gifts to customers and partners. From 50 pcs.
- Branded glasses — start with one shape (for example, a 0.3 l beer glass or 0.2 l cocktail glass), not five.
- Takeaway and staff mugs — thermal mugs with the bar's logo, from 1 pc. with sublimation or from 50 pcs. with digital printing.
Branded glasses: what actually survives washing
For glass, there are two fundamentally different routes. Screen printing with ceramic paints, kiln-fired after application, withstands industrial dishwashing — it's the standard choice for a bar that washes its glasses every day. Minimum quantities for this type of printing usually start at 50–100 pieces per shape, and the price depends on the number of colours (1 colour is considerably cheaper than 3–4 colours).
The second route is stickers made from vinyl or clear film with contour cutting. We produce these in 1–3 business days and from small quantities, but they're not meant for daily washing — they're a solution for an event, a seasonal cocktail menu, or a tasting. If you need printed glasses, just tell us the shape, volume and number of logo colours — we'll prepare a quote with several quantity options within one business day.
Coasters and printed venue materials
We print coasters using digital printing on thick cardboard, round or square, with contour cutting to your shape. The same digital printing covers everything else that wears out quickly in a bar: cocktail menus, A5 flyers for events, gift cards, table cards with a QR code linking to Wi-Fi or the menu. We work from small quantities here too — a one-off event doesn't need an order of 5000 pieces.
Staff clothing: screen printing, DTF or embroidery
For a bar, embroidery on the chest (up to 90×90 mm) is the most practical choice — it doesn't crack or peel even after frequent washing. Screen printing is cost-effective from 20–30 pieces and works well for a simple one- or two-colour logo on the front or back. DTF transfer is the choice for small batches and multi-colour graphics.
Standard printing areas we use in clothing printing:
| Area | Maximum size | Suitable for |
|---|---|---|
| Left chest | 110×90 mm | Logo on polo, shirt, apron |
| Front / back | 280×210 mm | Bar name, event graphics |
| Sleeve | 80×60 mm | Slogan, year, sponsor mark |
| Embroidery | 90×90 mm | Everyday shift clothing |

Lead times, files and how ordering works
Add items to your request in the catalogue or simply tell us what you need and how many. Within one business day we send you a quote online and as a PDF, with product images, prices, print area, set-up fee and lead time for each item. On request, we prepare a 3D preview with your logo; the artwork is confirmed by email before production starts.
Send your logo as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), CMYK; for raster images, 300 dpi. Our own print products — stickers, coasters, business cards, posters — take 1–3 business days. Promotional products with printing usually take 6–10 business days: production 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus delivery 2–3 days. If your opening or event is coming up sooner, let us know the date straight away — we can arrange urgent orders by agreement.
Frequently asked questions
Does printing on glasses withstand a dishwasher?
Screen printing with kiln-fired ceramic paints is designed for daily washing and withstands industrial cycles. Vinyl or clear film stickers are a solution for events and decoration, not for permanent washing.
What's the minimum quantity for bar merchandise?
We produce mugs and thermal mugs with sublimation from 1 piece, and T-shirts and hoodies also from 1 piece. For glasses with screen printing, quantities usually start at 50–100 pcs, and for socks with a woven-in logo, from 100 pairs. The price per piece drops at higher quantities.
What's better for staff shirts — screen printing or embroidery?
If the clothing is washed several times a week, chest embroidery is more durable. Screen printing is more cost-effective for larger back graphics and batches from 20–30 pieces, while DTF transfer suits small batches and multi-colour graphics.
How much do branded coasters cost?
The price depends on the shape, cardboard thickness and quantity, so we calculate it individually. For a typical bar order, we prepare a quote with three quantity options (for example, 500, 1000 and 2000 pcs), so you can see where the price per piece levels out.
Can I order everything in one quote?
Yes. We combine both our own print items (coasters, stickers, cocktail menus) and promotional products and clothing in a single PDF quote, with a separate lead time for each item, so you can plan delivery in stages.
How can I see how the logo will look on the product?
Before production, we send you an artwork proof with the print area and dimensions in millimetres, and on request a 3D visualisation as well. Production only starts after your confirmation by email.
Send your list of items and quantities to info@attaprint.lv, call us, or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote with prices, lead times and printing options within one business day.
