Nursery T-shirts with logo: bags and reflectors for groups

A guide for nurseries: T-shirts with your institution's logo from EUR 1.94/pc, printing from 1 piece, reflectors, bags and name stickers for the cloakroom.

Stafford 190 g/m² kids' T-shirt with short sleeves

Nursery T-shirts with your institution's logo start from around EUR 1.94 per piece (Beagle 155 g/m² kids' T-shirt at 100 pcs), with printing adding roughly EUR 1.50–3.50 per piece depending on the technology and number of colours. We work with both single-piece orders and whole-nursery orders; production with printing usually takes 4–7 business days plus 2–3 days for delivery, while stickers and posters are ready in 1–3 business days.

What nurseries typically need

Based on experience with pre-school institutions in Riga and across the regions, orders tend to fall into three categories. The first is group T-shirts and sweatshirts for outings, sports days and graduation. The second is safety and visibility outside the premises: reflectors, hi-vis vests, lanyards, fabric bags for indoor shoes. The third is the visual side of the premises: name stickers for lockers, signage, information posters for parents, and group name signs.

If the budget is limited, the most practical order is: first, reflectors for all children (the cheapest item per piece), then T-shirts for one of the older groups or for graduation, then indoor signage and stickers, which can be reprinted every year at low cost.

Nursery T-shirts: fabric and weight

For kids' T-shirts, the main criterion is the fabric and its weight. 100% cotton at 155–190 g/m² is the best choice for everyday wear and graduation — it takes print well and doesn't build up static. Polyester sports shirts at 135–150 g/m² are lighter and dry faster, making them suitable for sports days and summer activities.

Print size for children's sizes should be smaller than for adults. Standard placements: logo on the left chest at 110×90 mm, a larger print on the front or back up to 280×210 mm (usually 150–200 mm wide on kids' sizes), sleeve print 80×60 mm, embroidery up to 90×90 mm. On size 98/104, a large format simply won't fit — it's better to scale the logo down proportionally.

Which printing technology to choose

TechnologyCost-effective fromColoursNotes
DTF transfer1 pcfull colourSuited to photos, gradients, small batches
Screen printing50–100 pcs1–4 coloursLowest price per piece for large batches, durable
Embroidery10 pcsup to 90×90 mmFor sweatshirts, jackets, caps; a more premium look
Sublimation1 pcfull colourLight-coloured polyester only

For a group of 20–25 children, DTF is usually the best option: there's no set-up fee per colour, and each child's name can also be printed. From 100 T-shirts with a one- or two-colour logo, screen printing already becomes more cost-effective.

Examples from our catalogue

A few examples from our catalogue:

Bags, reflectors and lanyards

A fabric bag with the group's name is one of the most practical items — children keep their indoor shoes or sports gear in it, and it doesn't get lost in the cloakroom. A cotton bag with single-colour screen printing costs roughly EUR 2.50–4.50 per piece at 100 pcs; you'll find a selection in our tote bags category.

Reflectors are the cheapest safety item: soft hanging reflectors with a printed logo from roughly EUR 0.70–1.60 per piece at 100 pcs. Lanyards with the institution's name (for teachers, trainees, event guests) start from roughly EUR 1.60 per piece at 100 pcs. These figures are indicative; the exact price depends on quantity, number of colours and model.

Stickers, signage and posters for premises

This part is produced in-house on Kandavas Street, so turnaround is 1–3 business days. The most popular jobs for nurseries:

  • name and symbol stickers for lockers and cots — vinyl with contour cutting, resistant to damp wiping;
  • group name signs for doors, kitchen and evacuation signage;
  • information posters for parents in A3–A1 format, daily schedule and menu sheets;
  • diplomas, invitations and graduation cards in digital printing from 1 piece;
  • a roll-up banner stand for open-door days and municipal events.

Files, artwork and deadlines

Please send your logo as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), in CMYK; raster images need at least 300 dpi at actual size. If the nursery only has a drawing or a scanned emblem, we'll redraw it in vector format — a one-off job that can then be used for all future orders.

We send a quote within one business day, online and as a PDF, with product images, prices, print location, set-up fee and lead time for each item. On request, we can prepare a 3D visual with your logo so the parents' council or procurement committee has something to look at. The artwork must be approved by email, and only then does production begin. After approval: clothing and promotional products take 6–10 business days, our own in-house printing 1–3 business days. Urgent graduation jobs can be arranged by agreement.

Frequently asked questions

How small an order can you produce?

We also work with orders of 1 piece — for example, a single T-shirt for a teacher or five diplomas. For small quantities we use DTF transfer, which has no set-up fee per colour.

Will the print survive washing children's clothes?

Yes, if washed inside-out at 30–40 °C and not ironed directly over the print. DTF and screen printing on kids' T-shirts usually last a whole season; embroidery on sweatshirts is even more durable.

Can each child's name be printed on their T-shirt?

Yes. With DTF, each T-shirt is printed individually, so names or numbers don't significantly increase the cost — usually it's just a small surcharge for preparing variable data. Please send the name list in Excel or plain text.

What sizes are available for kids' T-shirts?

Our catalogue's children's models are available in sizes from around 2 years old (size 98) up to 12 years, depending on the model. We check the size chart and availability for specific colours and include this in the quote.

Can you issue an invoice to a municipal institution with a payment term?

Yes, we work with municipal institutions and schools, and issue invoices for bank transfer with the required details. If a price quote is needed for procurement documentation, we prepare it as a separate PDF.

How far in advance should we order before graduation?

Plan T-shirts and sweatshirts with printing at least 3 weeks in advance, to leave time for artwork approval and size confirmation. Diplomas, invitations and posters can be produced in 1–3 business days.

Send us the number of groups, the number of children and your logo to info@attaprint.lv, call us or message us on WhatsApp +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote with prices, print location and lead time within one business day.
