Price Tag Printing for Shops: Shelf Labels and Materials
Price tag printing from EUR 0.35 per piece in A7 format, shelf labels from EUR 19/m². Turnaround 3-5 business days, urgent jobs by arrangement.

Making price tags for shops in Riga starts at roughly EUR 0.35 per piece (A7 card, 300 g cardboard, 100-piece run), while shelf-marking stickers on self-adhesive film start from EUR 19.00/m² for orders of 20 m² or more. Standard turnaround is 2-5 business days, and for die-cut solutions and large runs it's 5 business days. All prices are excl. VAT and indicative — the exact amount depends on format, material, quantity, and whether lamination or die-cutting is needed.
Types of price tags and labelling we produce
Shop labelling is rarely limited to a single format. In practice, a single order often includes three to four different products working together.
- Price cards on cardboard — 300 g cardboard, formats A7, A6, A5, 105x74 mm, or any custom size. Suitable for meat and bread sections, markets, and café display cases.
- Shelf talkers — long narrow cards, typically 1000x40 mm or 400x60 mm, inserted into shelf strips.
- Stickers on matte or gloss self-adhesive film — promo circles, "New", "-30%", shelf numbering, floor directions.
- Die-cut stickers — arrows, stars, logo shapes, where a rectangle just doesn't look right.
- Wobbler-type highlights — a cardboard shape on a plastic stem that sticks out from the shelf.
- A2 and A1 posters — section headers, seasonal promotion announcements at the entrance.
Matte or gloss film
Matte film reflects less under shop lighting and the text can be read from an angle — a more logical choice for price information and shelf numbering. Gloss film makes colours pop more, so it works better for promo circles and brand elements. Both materials cost the same.

| Product | Material | From 1 | From 20-50 | Turnaround |

| Poster A2 | 200 g paper | EUR 6.00/pc | EUR 3.20/pc (from 50) | 2-4 b. d. |
| Poster A1 | 200 g paper | EUR 9.00/pc | EUR 5.50/pc (from 50) | 2-4 b. d. |
| Catalogue A5, 8 pages | 170 g | EUR 2.20/pc | EUR 1.20/pc (from 250) | 5-7 b. d. |
For stickers in the 5-19 m² range, the intermediate price is roughly EUR 22.00/m². There's no set-up fee for stickers and posters. For catalogues (e.g. a shop's product range booklet), set-up is a one-off EUR 15.00.
How square metres are calculated
Stickers are calculated based on the printed material area, including a small gap between elements. Example: 200 pcs of 70 mm diameter promo circles take up around 1.3 m² — that's about EUR 31, plus die-cutting, totalling around EUR 42, or about EUR 0.21 per sticker. The more densely elements can be arranged on a sheet, the lower the price per piece — so send your full labelling set in one file.
Choosing materials by location in the shop
Freezers and fridges. You need film with cold-resistant adhesive and a matte surface — ordinary paper warps within a few days from condensation. We laminate stickers on request if they need to be wiped.
Fresh produce sections. Cardboard cards with matte laminate — can be cleaned with a damp cloth, and the price can be rewritten with a marker if the design allows for it.
Floor directions. Requires thicker film with anti-slip laminate; we quote this separately, as the material is more expensive than standard self-adhesive film.
Display cases and glass doors. Stickers with adhesive on the front (viewed from outside) or die-cut film letters without a background.
File requirements and design
The optimal format is vector graphics — .ai, .eps, or .pdf, CMYK colours, text converted to outlines, and a 2-3 mm bleed around the edges. If you have a price list in Excel and a unified card template, we can set up variable data printing, where each card automatically gets its own product name, price, and barcode — this saves time if you have more than 50 cards.
Important note on barcodes and QR codes: we produce them in black on white, with a minimum height of 10 mm — otherwise in-store scanners read them unreliably. If a code isn't available in vector format, just send us the digit sequence — we'll generate it.
Turnaround and run sizes
We also work with single pieces — if you need to reprint one damaged shelf talker, that's not a problem. Realistic turnaround times:
- Stickers without die-cutting: 3-4 business days
- Stickers with die-cutting: 4-5 business days
- Cardboard cards cut to format: 3-5 business days
- Posters A2-A1: 2-4 business days
- Large runs (from 2000 pcs) or multiple materials in one order: 5 business days
We handle urgent jobs by arrangement — let us know the date the labelling needs to be in the shop, and we'll confirm whether we can make it. For seasonal promotion campaigns, we recommend sending files at least a week before the promotion starts.
What else to order along with labelling
Shops and cafés often add business cards to the same order (roughly EUR 25.00 per 100 pcs, from 3 sets EUR 22.00), an A5 product range catalogue, and staff clothing printing — DTF transfer up to A4 from EUR 6.00 per piece, from 50 pcs EUR 4.20, or embroidery on aprons and polo shirts from EUR 5.50. When ordered together, we combine the preparation work and logistics.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much do 100 price cards in A7 format cost?
Roughly EUR 35-45 excl. VAT, depending on whether the cards are single- or double-sided and whether lamination is needed. That's about EUR 0.35-0.45 per piece. We give you an exact price once we see the file or size list.
Can you print different text and prices on each card?
Yes. Send us a template and the data in a table (Excel or CSV) with columns for product, price, and barcode, and we'll do variable data printing. The extra fee for data preparation is usually EUR 10-20, depending on the number of records and how the table is organised.
Which sticker suits fridge shelves?
Matte self-adhesive film with cold-resistant adhesive. Same price — from EUR 24.00/m², EUR 19.00/m² from 20 m². If the sticker will be wiped regularly, we add matte laminate, which slightly increases the cost but significantly extends its lifespan.
How long do promo stickers with die-cutting take?
4-5 business days from artwork approval. Die-cutting costs an extra EUR 8.00/m². In urgent cases we can shorten this, but it needs to be agreed in advance.
Can I order just 20 stickers?
Yes, we also work with small runs and even single pieces. Note that at small volumes the price per piece is higher — the minimum invoice for sticker work is usually around EUR 15-25.
Do you help with design if I only have a price list?
We prepare a simple, legible template based on your brand colours and fonts. We quote this work separately depending on scope — let us know how many different formats you need.
Send us your files or just describe what needs labelling in your shop at info@attaprint.lv or WhatsApp +371 25776699 — project manager Madara will prepare a quote within one business day. We're located at Kandavas iela 29A, Riga, and finished work can be collected on site.
