Gift Set Price: Box, Filling and Ribbon

In practice, the price of a gift set breaks down into three parts: products (usually 60–80% of the total), packaging — box, filling, ribbon and card (approximately 2.50–6.00 EUR per set at 50 pcs) — and assembly work (0.80–2.00 EUR per set). A simple set with 2–3 cheaper products starts from around 8 EUR excl. VAT, while an average business gift set costs 15–30 EUR excl. VAT. All prices here are indicative — the exact amount depends on quantity, product choice and the type of printing.

What makes up the price of a gift set

When a customer asks "how much does a set cost", the answer is always a sum of individual items. That's why in our quote we show each part separately — so you can see where it's possible to save.

• Products — 1–5 items per set. This is where the biggest variation lies: a pen from 0.15 EUR, a notebook set from 1.35 EUR, a faux-leather book set from 13.52 EUR at 100 pcs.
• Logo printing on each product — pad printing or laser engraving on a pen, digital printing or hot foil stamping on a notebook. Each item has its own one-off setup fee (usually 15–35 EUR).
• Box — a cardboard box with a lid, a bag or a tube.
• Filling — paper shred, tissue paper or a cardboard insert.
• Ribbon and card — a satin or fabric ribbon, a printed card.
• Assembly — hand-assembled at our workshop at Kandavas iela 29A.

Box: sizes, material and printing

A standard cardboard box with a removable lid (for example, 20×20×10 cm or 30×22×9 cm) costs approximately 2.00–4.00 EUR per piece at 50 pcs. Smaller boxes (16×16×8 cm) start from around 1.40 EUR. If you need a box with a magnetic clasp or fabric covering, the price rises to 5.00–9.00 EUR.

Full-box printing (offset or UV printing on the entire surface) only pays off from 300–500 pcs. For smaller runs, it's cheaper to use a plain-colour box plus a printed sticker.

Marking the box with a sticker

A sticker is the cheapest way to display a logo on a box. According to our price list, standard printing costs 17.60 EUR/m², laminated stickers 24.00 EUR/m². The calculation is simple:

• a round or square sticker 80×80 mm = 0.0064 m² → approximately 0.11 EUR/pc.
• a rectangular sticker 200×60 mm = 0.012 m² → approximately 0.21 EUR/pc. (laminated ~0.29 EUR)

The setup fee for stickers is 0 EUR with us. If you need a metallised or transparent material, the price is 48.00–64.00 EUR/m², which for an 80×80 mm sticker means approximately 0.31–0.41 EUR. For more on materials and formats, see the stickers section.

Filling, ribbon and card

Card pricing is taken from our price list: 100 business cards 90×55 mm on 300 gsm paper — 25.00 EUR, from 3 sets 22.00 EUR per 100 pcs. For larger formats (A6 invitations or an instruction card), see the business cards and small formats section.

For filling, the cheapest option is coloured paper shred; tissue paper looks neater but takes more work. A die-cut foam or cardboard insert, where each product sits in its own recess, costs from around 2.50 EUR per set and pays off from 100 pcs.

Three price tiers at 50 sets

Prices excl. VAT. At 100–250 sets, the price per piece drops by 10–25%, mainly on the box, filling and assembly side, as setup fees are spread over a larger quantity.

Turnaround times

Promotional products with printing usually take 6–10 business days (production 4–7 business days depending on quantity + delivery 2–3 days). Add 1–3 business days for assembling the sets. Our own printing — stickers, cards, inserts — takes 1–3 business days. If you need it faster, let us know straight away: we handle urgent jobs by agreement, sometimes by reducing the number of items in the set.

How much does a ready-made gift set cost at 50 pieces?

The economy option with a box, filling, ribbon, sticker and two products — approximately 8–11 EUR excl. VAT. A mid-range set with a notebook and thermal mug — 18–26 EUR. The premium option with a magnetic box and insert — from 35 EUR.

Does the box need to be fully printed, or is a sticker enough?

Below 300 pcs, it's almost always cheaper to use a plain-colour box plus a printed sticker: an 80×80 mm sticker costs approximately 0.11 EUR, while full-box printing on a small run can add 3–6 EUR to each box.

What's the minimum quantity?

We can also do a single set, but then the packaging and setup costs per piece are high. The practical threshold where the price becomes reasonable is 25–50 sets. For socks with a woven-in logo, the minimum is 100 pairs.

Can you assemble a set using the customer's own products?

Yes. The customer brings their own products (for example, locally made goods), and we add a box, filling, ribbon, a printed sticker and a card, then assemble everything. In this case, assembly work costs 0.90–2.00 EUR per set, depending on the number of items.

Do the prices include VAT?

No, all prices mentioned are excl. VAT and are indicative. The exact price depends on quantity, product choice and the type of printing.

Can I see what the set will look like before production?

Yes. We include product images with the print area in the quote, prepare a 3D view with the customer's logo on request, and the artwork is approved by email before production.
