Fitness club merch: bottles, towels, yoga mats and T-shirts
A practical guide to creating fitness club merch: which products work, how much printing costs, minimum quantities and lead times of 3–10 business days.

Fitness club merch in practice comes down to four items that actually get used: a sports bottle (from around 4–6 EUR/pc with a logo), a quick-dry towel (from around 9–12 EUR), a yoga mat (from around 18–30 EUR) and a T-shirt with the club's logo (from around 9 EUR at 30+ pcs). We also work with single pieces, but the real price point kicks in at 25–50 units, and production usually takes 5–10 business days. Prices are indicative, excl. VAT, and depend on quantity, number of colours and printing technique.
Where to start: three levels of club merch
Before choosing products, it's worth understanding what the merch is for. In practice, clubs and trainers work with three different levels, each with its own price range.

- Gift for a new client or membership purchase — a cheap but useful item: a wristband, a skipping rope, resistance bands. Budget 3–8 EUR/pc.
- Merch sold at the club — T-shirt, towel, sports bottle. Quality and wash-resistant printing matter most here. Budget 8–20 EUR/pc.
- Premiums and competition prizes — yoga mat, running vest, smart ring. Budget 20 EUR and up, usually small quantities (5–20 pcs).
If your budget is limited, we recommend starting with a bottle and a T-shirt — these are the most visible items in the gym and on social media photos.
Sports bottles: the lowest cost for visibility
The Forza 700 ml sports bottle with mixing ball (plastic, 5 colours) is the most frequently ordered item for fitness clients. Printing: screen printing on round surfaces or pad printing, typically in 1–2 colours. A logo on the side of the bottle will withstand regular use as long as it isn't washed in a dishwasher.
If you'd like a wider choice of volumes and materials, see the water bottles section of our catalogue. At 100+ pcs, the price per unit drops to roughly half of what it is at 10 pcs.
Towels and yoga mats
The Pieter recycled PET ultra-light, quick-dry towel, 130 x 80 cm (3 colours) is a size that works both in the gym and at the pool. Printing: DTF transfer, heat transfer or a fixed embroidery in the corner. Embroidery looks more premium and is more wash-resistant, but costs more for small quantities because it includes a digitising fee.
For yoga, the catalogue offers two different approaches:
- Virabha yoga mat made from recycled TPE, 3 colours — lighter, cheaper, printed with DTF transfer or screen printing.
- Trikona cork yoga mat, 1 colour — a natural cork top layer, suitable for studios with a natural-materials aesthetic; printed with heat transfer or embroidery.
- Trikona cork yoga ball – set of 2 — works well as an add-on to a mat or as a prize; laser engraving is also possible, which looks clean on cork and doesn't rub off.
For mats, we recommend keeping the logo small (8–15 cm) and single-colour — a large full-colour image on a flexible surface will distort over time with use.
T-shirts and apparel for trainers
Apparel is the only merch category that also doubles as team uniform. For trainers, we usually order 2–3 T-shirts each plus a sweatshirt for winter. Choice of technique:
| Technique | Suitable quantity | Number of colours | Indicative printing cost (excl. VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| DTF transfer | 1–50 pcs | Full colour | from 4 EUR/pc |
| Screen printing | from 30 pcs | 1–4 colours | from 1.50 EUR/pc at 100+ |
| Embroidery | 5–200 pcs | up to 8 thread colours | from 5 EUR/pc + digitising |
| Sublimation | 10+ pcs | Full colour | on request |
For small runs and personalisation (trainer's name on the back), choose DTF. If a club orders 100 T-shirts in one design, screen printing is more cost-effective. For more on materials and sizes, see the apparel printing and T-shirt sections.
Small add-ons and prizes
These products work well as prize draw items, challenge rewards or added value for a membership:
- Grip 2-piece resistance band set (rubber/polyester, 4 colours) — screen printing or DTF on the pouch.
- Austin soft skipping rope in a recycled PET fabric bag (2 colours) — printing on the bag, not on the rope itself.
- Hyper performance wristband and Brisky sports wristband with zip pocket (cotton, 2 colours) — small logo via heat transfer or DTF.
- Varyon GRS recycled running vest with hydration system, 5 l, Varyon belt bag and Varyon shoulder bag with bottle pocket, 6 l — for running clubs and outdoor training groups.
- Prixton Orbyt smart ring (aluminium, 3 colours) — the top prize for a year-long challenge, digital printing on packaging or surface.
- Bright face paint for drawing flags (5 colours) — for competition days and the supporters' zone.

Files and lead times
Send your design in vector format (.ai, .eps, .pdf), colours in CMYK or specified as Pantone. If you only have a logo as a JPG, we can redraw it in vector — this takes 1–2 business days. Standard lead time after artwork approval: apparel and small items 5–7 business days, larger catalogue products 5–10 business days. For urgent jobs ahead of competitions or open days, please contact us separately.
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum quantity for a fitness club merch order?
For apparel and DTF printing, we work with even 1 piece. For catalogue products (bottles, towels, mats), the realistic minimum is 5–25 pcs depending on the item, as setting up printing for a single piece isn't cost-effective.
How long does an order take?
Usually 5–10 business days from artwork approval. Allow 7–10 business days for large-volume screen printing and embroidery. If you have a specific deadline, let us know upfront — we'll adjust the production schedule accordingly.
Will the printing on a towel and bottle withstand washing?
For towels, embroidery and DTF transfer withstand regular washing up to 40°C. For bottles, screen printing and pad printing are durable if hand-washed; a dishwasher will gradually wear the print away.
How many colours can the logo use?
For bottles and small items, practically 1–2 colours, as each additional colour is a separate printing operation. DTF and digital printing allow full-colour designs with no extra charge for colours.
Can you prepare the design if I only have a logo?
Yes. We place the logo on the product, prepare a visual for your approval and, if needed, redraw the logo in vector format.
Send us your product list and planned quantity at info@attaprint.lv, call us, or message us on WhatsApp +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote with prices and lead times within one business day.
