Floor Stickers and Wayfinding Signs for Indoor Spaces: Prices and Production

Floor stickers from EUR 25/m² (from 20 m² — EUR 19/m²), contour cutting +EUR 8/m². Production 3–7 business days in Riga.

Floor sticker with a directional arrow on an indoor floor

We produce floor stickers on matte or gloss self-adhesive vinyl for approximately EUR 25.00/m² (from 5 m² — approximately EUR 22.00/m², from 20 m² — approximately EUR 19.00/m², excl. VAT), with contour cutting to shape costing an additional approximately EUR 8.00/m². There is no artwork preparation fee, the standard production time is 2–5 business days, and urgent jobs are arranged separately. We also work with single pieces — if you need two arrows and one "Entrance" sign, we handle it the same way as a 200-piece order.

What floor stickers are used for

In practice, orders fall into a few typical categories. In shops and shopping centres — directional arrows, promotion zone markings, checkout queue markers. In offices and production facilities — walking paths, zone numbers, safety signage. In schools and municipal institutions — navigation to classrooms, gyms, canteens.

At events, floor stickers often replace additional stands: directions placed on the floor pointing to registration, the cloakroom or the hall work better than a sheet mounted on a wall, because people in a crowd tend to look down. These stickers are usually short-term — removed after the event.

Materials and surfaces

For floor stickers we use self-adhesive vinyl with a print laminate that protects the colour from abrasion. The choice is between matte and gloss vinyl — the price is the same for both, approximately EUR 25.00/m², but they behave differently.

Gloss vinylShort-term promotions, eventsBrighter colours, but reflects lighting

The floor surface matters. On smooth surfaces — laminate, tiles, varnished concrete, linoleum — the vinyl adheres well and removes cleanly without residue, as long as it hasn't been left for years. On carpet, rough concrete or porous stone, standard vinyl doesn't hold well; in such cases we recommend a fabric-based solution or moving the sign to a wall or a poster stand.

Sizes and shapes

Most commonly ordered sizes:

  • Circle Ø 30 cm — checkout queue markers, zone points. Approximately 0.09 m² per piece.
  • Circle Ø 50 cm — logo or short text, visible from 5–6 m away.
  • Arrow 40×20 cm — the basic element of a navigation chain.
  • Rectangle 60×20 cm — text signs such as "Registration →".
  • Footprint shapes — marking a path in nurseries and museums.

When calculating the price, we add up the total area. Example: 20 arrows at 40×20 cm = 1.6 m². With contour cutting, that's approximately 25 + 8 = 33 EUR/m², totalling around EUR 53 excl. VAT. If an order reaches 5 m² (for example, 60 circles Ø 30 cm), the print price drops to approximately EUR 22/m².

Prices are approximate — the exact amount depends on the complexity of the shape, the number of pieces per area, and how efficiently the artwork can be arranged on the vinyl roll. The full price list and ordering are available in the stickers section.

File requirements

Vector graphics work best — .ai, .eps or .pdf with CMYK colours and text converted to outlines. For contour cutting, the artwork needs a separate cut path, or at least a clear shape we can trace. If you're including a photo, at least 150 dpi at the final size is needed — floor stickers are viewed from 1.5–2 m away, so poster-level resolution isn't necessary.

If you don't have artwork, we'll prepare it ourselves: simple arrows and text signs based on your logo and colour code — usually half a business day. This work is included in the order if the volume exceeds approximately 2 m².

Design tips

  • Text should be at least 4 cm tall if the sticker is meant to be read while walking.
  • Contrast matters more than the number of colours — dark text on a light background, or vice versa.
  • Check the arrow direction on site: the sticker should be positioned so it's read while walking down the corridor, not when viewed from the entrance.
  • Reserve 5–10% extra stickers as spares — some may get damaged during application.

Timelines and application

The standard turnaround is 2–5 business days from artwork approval. For larger navigation sets (over 20 m²), allow up to 5 business days. If your event is in three days, get in touch right away — we can often rearrange part of the schedule.

Application works best on a clean, dry floor that's at least +15 °C. We wipe the surface with an alcohol-based cleaner, apply the sticker from one side, pressing out air with a cloth or squeegee. It's best to avoid wet cleaning for the first 24 hours. Instructions are included with the order.

If your navigation project also needs wall signs, a roll-up banner stand or a banner at the entrance, all of it can be produced in a single order — see our large-format printing services.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a floor sticker last?

Indoors with average foot traffic, laminated vinyl keeps its appearance for 4–8 months. In shop entrance areas and factory corridors with trolleys, the lifespan is shorter — 2–3 months. Event stickers are a one-time solution.

Will the sticker damage the floor when removed?

On laminate, tile and linoleum, a properly removed sticker leaves no residue. The risk increases if the sticker has been in place for over a year, or if the floor has old, cracked varnish. If in doubt, we recommend making a test sticker first and applying it in a less visible spot for 2 weeks.

Is there a minimum order amount?

There's no minimum order — we also produce a single sticker. However, for small orders the price per piece is higher, since preparation time doesn't change. From 5 m², the price drops to approximately EUR 22/m², and from 20 m² — to approximately EUR 19/m².

Are the stickers slip-resistant?

We use a laminate with a matte texture that's no more slippery than the floor itself in dry conditions. In wet areas — entrance zones, near pools, in kitchens — we don't recommend floor stickers; wall signs work better there.

Can you cut a sticker to the shape of a logo?

Yes, contour cutting costs approximately EUR 8.00/m² in addition to the print price and is available for practically any shape, with a minimum detail size of around 5 mm. For complex logos, we send a visualisation of the cut path for approval before production.

Send us a floor plan or simply a description of how many signs you need and what kind — email info@attaprint.lv, call, or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699. We prepare a quote with an exact area calculation within one business day.
