Why engraving rather than printing

Engraving is always single-colour: on wood and bamboo you get a dark brown contrast, on aluminium and steel a light, matte design. Prices, quantities and setup fee
The price shown in the catalogue is per item. Added to it is a printing setup fee (a cliché for pad printing or engraving file preparation) and a per-piece printing cost — we specify both separately in the quote for each item.

Files, artwork and lead times
Engraving requires vector graphics: .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg. Raster logos (PNG, JPG) are only suitable for pad printing and stickers, and ideally at 300 dpi. If you only have an image, we redraw the logo in vector format — this is noted in the quote.
We send a quote with product photos, prices, printing location, setup fee and lead time for each item within one business day, both online and as a PDF. On request, we prepare a 3D preview with your logo. The artwork needs to be approved by email, after which production starts: 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus 2–3 days delivery. We look at urgent jobs on a case-by-case basis.
