New Year planners and calendars: ordering in December
How far in advance you really need to order New Year planners and calendars, what the minimum quantities are, and the last date in December you can still place an order.
New Year planners and calendars should be ordered in October or November, not in the second half of December: our own printing (wall, desk and poster-type calendars) takes 1–3 business days, while catalogue notebooks and planners with logo printing take 6–10 business days (4–7 days production + 2–3 days delivery). In practical terms, this means an order placed by 10–12 December is still realistically doable before the holidays; after that, you can only reliably count on our own in-house printed products.
When you actually need to order
October and November are the only time when you can calmly choose the material, colour and binding type. In December, factories and deliveries get busy, and what takes 6 business days in October can take 10 by mid-December.
- October–November: free choice from the notebooks and planners available in the catalogue, time for artwork revisions, samples possible.
- 1–10 December: standard lead times still apply, but colour and size availability in the catalogue is already shrinking.
- 11–20 December: only our own printing can be reliably planned — calendars, cards, invitations, stickers, posters.
- After 20 December: only urgent jobs by separate agreement are realistically achievable.

If the deadline is critical, tell us right away in your first message — in our quote we state the lead time separately for each item, and often one product can be swapped for an equivalent one with a shorter turnaround.
What to choose: a planner, a wall or a desk calendar
A planner or notebook with a logo is a gift for staff and clients that gets used all year round. Printing dated inside pages is a separate job with a longer lead time, so in December it's more practical to go for an undated notebook from the catalogue with a printed cover or an embossed logo.
Wall and desk calendars are our own digital printing — here you can order even 5 or 20 pieces, for example, for office spaces or a shop. The most popular options: a single A2/A1 sheet covering the whole year, a 12-sheet wall calendar on a spiral, and a desk calendar on a triangular stand.
Calendars as an advertising medium only work if there's space to write on them. If you're planning a calendar with large photo images, leave at least 25–30 mm below the date block for notes.

Files and artwork approval
Send vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), CMYK; for raster images, 300 dpi at actual size. Be sure to check the year, public holidays and week numbering on the calendar grid — this is the most common mistake that can't be corrected after printing.
We send quotes within one business day, online and as a PDF, with product images, prices, print location, setup fee and lead time listed separately for each item. On request, we prepare a 3D preview with your logo; production starts only after artwork approval by email.
