Catalogue Printing Price 2025: Costs by Page Count and Format

Catalogue printing starts from 1.20 EUR/pc (A5, 8 pages, from 250 pcs) and 1.90 EUR/pc for A4 format. Price table by print run, page count and format.

Saddle-stitched A4 and A5 catalogues laid out on a table

Catalogue printing starts from 1.90 EUR per piece in A4 format (8 pages, 170 gsm paper, from 250 copies) and from 1.20 EUR per piece in A5 format for the same print run. For small quantities, such as 25 pcs, a single A4 catalogue costs roughly 3.50 EUR, while A5 costs 2.20 EUR; a one-off artwork setup fee of 15.00 EUR is added on top. All prices are indicative and exclude VAT, with the final amount depending on the number of pages, paper, binding type and print run.

What makes up the price of catalogues and brochures

A catalogue is not a single sheet, so the price includes several elements:

  • Page count. For saddle-stitched catalogues, the number of pages must be divisible by 4 (8, 12, 16, 20, 24 pages, etc.), as each printed sheet produces four pages once folded.
  • Format. An A5 catalogue costs around 35–40% less than A4, since one sheet yields twice as many pages.
  • Paper. The standard solution is 170 gsm coated paper for all pages. A thicker cover (250–300 gsm) or matte lamination raises the price by 10–20%.
  • Binding. Saddle stitching for up to 48 pages is included in the price; spiral or perfect binding is quoted separately.
  • Print run. With digital printing, the price drops gradually from 50 pcs onwards, and from 250 pcs it's no longer efficient to price per single unit.

Price list: A4 and A5 catalogues, 8 pages, 170 gsm

These are our indicative list prices, excluding VAT, per single copy:

Print runA4, 8 pp., 170 gsmA5, 8 pp., 170 gsm
from 1 pc3.50 EUR2.20 EUR
from 50 pcs2.90 EUR1.80 EUR
from 100 pcs2.40 EUR1.50 EUR
from 250 pcs1.90 EUR1.20 EUR

A one-off setup fee of 15.00 EUR per title applies (artwork check, imposition, sheet layout, digital proof).

What the final invoice looks like

  • 50 pcs A5, 8 pp.: 50 × 1.80 + 15.00 = 105.00 EUR, i.e. 2.10 EUR/pc.
  • 100 pcs A4, 8 pp.: 100 × 2.40 + 15.00 = 255.00 EUR, i.e. 2.55 EUR/pc.
  • 250 pcs A4, 8 pp.: 250 × 1.90 + 15.00 = 490.00 EUR, i.e. 1.96 EUR/pc.

As you can see, the setup fee's impact on the unit price shrinks quickly: at 250 pcs it's only 6 cents per catalogue.

Indicative prices for thicker catalogues

The price list covers the 8-page version, so figures below for thicker publications are indicative. We provide an exact quote once the artwork or page count is confirmed.

Product25 pcs50 pcs100 pcs250 pcs
A4, 12 pp.~4.60 EUR~3.80 EUR~3.10 EUR~2.50 EUR
A4, 16 pp.~5.60 EUR~4.60 EUR~3.80 EUR~3.00 EUR
A4, 24 pp.~7.50 EUR~6.20 EUR~5.00 EUR~4.00 EUR
A5, 16 pp.~3.40 EUR~2.80 EUR~2.30 EUR~1.85 EUR
A5, 24 pp.~4.60 EUR~3.80 EUR~3.10 EUR~2.45 EUR

Practical rule of thumb: every additional four pages in A4 format increases the unit price by roughly 0.35–0.60 EUR, depending on the print run.

Brochure or catalogue — which to choose

A brochure is usually a single sheet with one or two folds (an A4 sheet folded into three, i.e. a roll fold/tri-fold). It's the cheapest way to present a list of services or a price list — brochures start from around 0.60–0.90 EUR per piece at a print run of 100 pcs, since no saddle stitching is needed.

A saddle-stitched catalogue is the logical choice if the content exceeds 6–8 pages: a product range, a menu with photos, a school yearbook, a municipal newsletter. If the page count exceeds 48, we recommend perfect binding — quoted separately.

If you only need a single sheet with contact details or a promotional offer, check out our flyers and cards section; the full range of printing services with prices is available on our shop page.

Files and turnaround times

Printing proceeds without delay if the artwork meets these requirements:

  • Format: print-ready PDF; vector files .ai, .eps, .pdf for logos and text.
  • Colours: CMYK, not RGB. Pantone shades are converted to CMYK and shown in the proof.
  • Bleed: 3 mm on each side, with important elements at least 5 mm from the trim line.
  • Images: at least 300 dpi at actual size.
  • Page order: separate pages in sequence, not spreads.

The standard turnaround time for catalogues and brochures is 5–7 business days from artwork approval; simple brochures without saddle stitching take 3–5 business days. For large print runs with a laminated cover, allow up to 10 business days. We can take on urgent jobs by separate arrangement — let us know the deadline in your first message.

If the catalogue is intended for a trade show or event, you'll often also need posters at the same time — an A2 poster starts from roughly 6 EUR/pc. Combining everything into one order is more convenient both for logistics and colour consistency.

FAQ

How much do 100 A4 catalogues with 8 pages cost?

100 × 2.40 EUR + 15.00 EUR setup = 255.00 EUR excl. VAT, i.e. 2.55 EUR per copy. The price includes 170 gsm coated paper, double-sided full-colour printing and saddle stitching.

Do you also print 10 or 20 catalogues?

Yes, we work with very small print runs too, even a single piece. The unit price then is 3.50 EUR (A4) or 2.20 EUR (A5), and the 15.00 EUR setup fee is spread over a small quantity, so small print runs are more expensive per piece.

Why does the page count need to be divisible by four?

In a saddle-stitched catalogue, each printed sheet forms four pages once folded, so 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 pages, etc. are possible. If the content comes to, say, 14 pages, we add two pages or re-plan the layout.

Is artwork creation included in the price?

The price list includes technical preparation at 15.00 EUR — file checking, imposition and digital proofing. Design work from scratch is a separate task, quoted based on the number of pages and amount of material.

How long do catalogues take?

Usually 5–7 business days from artwork approval, brochures without saddle stitching take 3–5 business days. For large print runs with a laminated cover, allow up to 10 business days; urgent jobs are handled by separate arrangement.

Can I order a thicker cover?

Yes. The most popular option is a 250–300 gsm cover with matte lamination and 170 gsm inner pages. This raises the price by roughly 10–20% depending on the print run.
