Wedding Invitation Printing: Invitations, Stickers and Place Cards
Wedding invitation printing, place cards and stickers for celebrations: guide prices, materials, formats and realistic production times of 3–10 business days.

Wedding invitation printing costs on average from 1.20 to 3.50 EUR per piece (excl. VAT), depending on format, paper and finish, and a typical order for 60–100 guests takes 3–7 business days to produce. The standard solution is an A6 or 105×210 mm invitation on 300 g/m² paper with double-sided printing; this is usually paired with place cards (from 0.45 EUR/pc), an A2 seating plan, and stickers for bottles or gifts (from 0.25 EUR/pc). If your files are ready as print-ready CMYK PDFs, we can start production right away.
What's usually included in a wedding print set
Most couples order not a single product but a full set made in one consistent design style. This is also more cost-effective, since a single design and setup process covers all the materials.
- Invitations — A6 (105×148 mm), DL (99×210 mm) or square 148×148 mm, single- or double-sided printing.
- Printed envelopes — name, address or monogram on the front of the envelope.
- Place cards — 90×50 mm folded or 85×55 mm flat.
- Menus and drink cards — DL or A5, often on textured paper.
- Seating plan — A2 or A1 poster on heavy paper or PVC board.
- Stickers — for bottles, gift boxes, favour bags, table number cards.
- Thank-you cards — A6 or 100×100 mm, produced together with the invitations and sent out after the celebration.
- Photo banner or backdrop — for a photo corner, most commonly 2×2 m or 2.5×2.5 m.
Guide prices
The figures below are indicative, excl. VAT, and apply to standard paper types and formats. The exact price depends on quantity, paper choice and finishing (foil stamping, contour cutting, rounded corners).

An A2 seating plan on 350 g/m² paper — from roughly 6 EUR; A1 — from 9 EUR. A 2×2 m photo banner with eyelets or pole pockets — from roughly 60 EUR. An 85×200 cm roll-up banner stand with a wedding design — from 95 EUR; couples often choose this option when they want a mobile backdrop they can move between the ceremony venue and the reception hall. More on formats on our banners and roll-up stands page.
Paper and finishing: what to choose
For invitations, 300–350 g/m² is the recommended weight. Thinner paper (170–250 g/m²) is fine for inserts, menus and programmes, but feels too light for the invitation itself.
Matte vs. textured paper
Matte coated 300 g/m² paper gives clean, accurate colour reproduction and is the most affordable option. Textured and cotton papers (linen, laid, natural white) look quieter and more premium, but colours print slightly darker on them — so it's worth checking a design with a light watercolour background against a print proof first.
Finishing options
Rounded corners (r=3 mm) — approximately +0.05 EUR/pc. Contour cutting to a custom shape (e.g. an arch-shaped invitation) — from +0.15 EUR/pc. Half-fold or tri-fold — from +0.08 EUR/pc. If you'd like a gold or copper foil accent, allow an extra 5–7 business days and a minimum order of 50 pcs.
Stickers for celebrations: where they actually come in handy
Stickers are the cheapest way to bring different items together in one consistent style. In practice, the most commonly ordered are:
- Labels for wine or champagne bottles — 80×100 mm or 90×120 mm, matte vinyl so they don't reflect camera flash.
- Round stickers 40–50 mm in diameter — for favour bags, honey jars, soap bars.
- Envelope seal stickers — imitating a wax seal, 35–40 mm in diameter.
- Table numbers — if the tables have glass or wooden tops, a sticker replaces a freestanding number stand.
For bottle labels we recommend laminated matte vinyl: it withstands condensation from an ice bucket, while plain paper starts to warp within half an hour. More on materials and contour cutting on our stickers page.
Timelines and planning schedule
Standard production time is 3–10 business days, depending on the product and quantity. Stickers and place cards usually take 3–5 business days, invitations with finishing 5–7, and banners or roll-up stands 3–5. Shorter turnarounds are possible by separate arrangement if the file is print-ready.
| When to order | Item |
|---|---|
| 4–6 months before the wedding | Save-the-date cards |
| 3 months before | Invitations and envelopes |
| 3–4 weeks before | Place cards, menus, seating plan |
| 2–3 weeks before | Stickers, gift tags, photo banner |
| After the celebration | Thank-you cards with photos |
We deliberately leave place cards for last — the guest list almost always changes, and last-minute updates typically come in about 10 days before the celebration.
File preparation
Ideally, send a PDF with 3 mm bleed on each side, in CMYK colour mode, with text converted to outlines or fonts embedded. Raster images need at least 300 dpi at actual size. Accepted vector formats are .ai, .eps and .pdf.
If you don't have a design yet, we can create one from your idea or a Pinterest reference: a simple wedding set design (invitation + card + sticker in one style) starts from roughly 60 EUR. We prepare a print proof on your chosen paper for 5–10 EUR — for larger orders we always recommend this, since colours almost always look brighter on screen. The full range of services is available on our shop page.
More ideas for the celebration
Besides paper goods, couples and event organisers often order printed mugs as guest favours (from our catalogue, from roughly 6 EUR/pc with a single-area print), T-shirts for bridesmaids, or tote bags with a monogram for guest favour bags. For larger quantities, starting from 25 pieces, the unit price drops significantly. We also work with single pieces if you need a sample or one special gift.
Frequently asked questions
How much do 100 wedding invitations cost?
An A6 invitation on 300 g/m² matte paper with double-sided printing, in a quantity of 100 pieces, costs approximately 1.50 EUR/pc, or around 150 EUR excl. VAT in total. With envelopes and printing on them, budget around 200–230 EUR. The price depends on the paper and finishing chosen.
How long does it take to get wedding invitations?
Usually 5–7 business days from design approval. If foil or contour cutting to shape is added, allow up to 10 business days. For urgent jobs, we agree on the timeline individually.
Can you print place cards with each guest's name?
Yes. Send us the name list in an Excel or Google Sheets file, and we add the variable data automatically — this doesn't increase the price per piece but adds one business day to preparation. Please double-check any special characters or diacritics in the list, as we print the cards exactly as entered.
Which stickers work best for bottles?
Laminated matte vinyl. It doesn't reflect in photos and withstands condensation from a chilled bottle. Paper stickers are cheaper, but they warp and discolour in moisture.
Can I order just 20 invitations?
Yes, we also work with small quantities and even single pieces. At a quantity of 20, the unit price will be higher — approximately 3–4 EUR per A6 invitation — since the setup work is the same as for a larger print run.
Can you create a design if I only have a reference image?
Yes. Send us reference images, texts and preferred colours; we prepare the first draft within 2–3 business days, and two rounds of revisions are included in the price.
Send us your guest count, preferred format and design references at info@attaprint.lv, call +371 25776699, or message us on WhatsApp at the same number. We prepare a quote with exact prices and timelines within one business day.
