Printing: what and how large can be placed

On these sets the print area is small – usually 40–60 mm wide on the front of the packaging. That's why a simple logo without fine lines and without thin text under 5 pt works best.

• Pad printing – 1–2 colours, precise, the cheapest choice for large quantities.
• Screen printing – 1 colour, thicker ink layer, works well on cardboard.
• Digital sticker – full-colour, suitable for logos with gradients and photos.
• Full-colour doming sticker – with a resin coating, more eye-catching but more expensive.
