Advertising for Haulage Companies: Vehicle Stickers, Vests, Thermal Mugs

A guide for haulage companies: which materials to choose for vehicle branding, how to print vests and thermal mugs, sizes, indicative prices and lead times.

Advertising for haulage companies: vehicle stickers, vests, thermal mugs

Advertising for haulage companies typically consists of three parts: vinyl stickers on trucks and trailers, printed workwear for drivers and warehouse staff, and logo products for the cab — thermal mugs, bottles, key rings. We produce printed materials (stickers, posters, business cards) in-house within 1–3 business days, promotional products with printing usually within 6–10 business days, and we send a quote with prices, print area and lead time for each item within one business day.

Vehicle stickers: what suits a fleet

For truck doors, spoilers and trailer sides, we use polymeric or cast vinyl with UV lamination. On a smooth painted surface, such a sticker lasts 3–5 years, even under winter road salt and wash equipment. On a corrugated aluminium trailer side, film adheres less well — there, large-format films with stronger adhesive or tarpaulin banner material printing are usually a better choice.

A typical set for one vehicle:

  • Logo on the door — 400×400 mm to 600×600 mm, contour-cut vinyl.
  • Company name and phone number on the side or rear — letter height 100–200 mm, readable from 30–50 m.
  • Mandatory information — carrier name, licence details, unladen weight; usually a smaller block, 150×100 mm.
  • Trailer side — full-area printed vinyl or separate elements; calculated per square metre.
  • ADR and safety signs, reflective stripes — separate from design stickers.

If vehicles come in batches, it's more cost-effective to print the whole fleet set in one go — preparation work is shared, and the price per vehicle drops. More on materials and contour cutting in the stickers and large-format printing sections.

Where stickers peel off

The three most common reasons: applying below +10°C, a dirty or waxed surface, and applying film to a freshly painted part. Before applying, we degrease the surface, and the vehicle should not be washed with a high-pressure washer for the first 24 hours.

Vests and workwear for drivers

For reflective vests and work jackets, the printing method is chosen based on the material. DTF transfer works well on polyester vests — durable, full colour, suitable even for small batches from 10 pcs. On cotton T-shirts and hoodies in larger quantities (from 50–100 pcs), screen printing is cheaper. For jackets and polo shirts, where the garment is worn for years, we recommend embroidery.

Standard print areas we work with:

AreaMaximum sizeTypical use
Left chest110×90 mmLogo on vest, polo, jacket
Front / back280×210 mmCompany name on the back
Sleeve80×60 mmAdditional logo, slogan
Embroideryup to 90×90 mmJackets, caps, polos

Haulage companies most often order a vest with a logo on the chest and name on the back, 2–3 T-shirts for summer, and one warm jacket for winter per driver. See the range in garment printing, T-shirts, jackets and workwear.

Thermal mugs and cab accessories

A thermal mug with a logo is one of the few promotional products a driver actually uses every day. We print metal thermal mugs with UV printing or engraving, and ceramic mugs with full-colour sublimation from 1 pc. Sports bottles are suitable for the warehouse and shorter routes.

Small items are valuable too: key rings, lanyards for passes, reflectors and reflective bag covers — the latter are useful when a driver steps out of the cab in the dark. Categories: thermal mugs, sports bottles, reflective products.

Files and artwork approval

Logos are needed in vector format — .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg, colours in CMYK. For raster images, a minimum of 300 dpi at actual size; for vehicle stickers, lower resolution is also acceptable since the viewing distance is greater, but we always check letter sharpness before printing.

On request, we prepare a 3D view with your logo on the specific product, so you can see the proportions before production. The artwork must be approved by email — only then do we start printing. You can view our completed work in the our work section.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a printed sticker last on a vehicle?

On a smooth, painted surface with polymeric vinyl and UV lamination — approximately 3–5 years. On a corrugated trailer side or plastic spoiler, the lifespan is shorter, 2–3 years, depending on washing frequency.

Can I order a single vest or a single mug as a sample?

Yes. Digital printing, DTF and sublimation work from 1 pc. Screen printing and woven socks have a minimum quantity — socks from 100 pairs.

Do you apply stickers to vehicles?

We produce stickers with application tape and application instructions. For larger fleets, we help plan sizes and placement based on vehicle photos.

How do I calculate how big the letters on a trailer should be?

A practical guideline: 30 mm of letter height for every 10 m of reading distance. For a company phone number on the rear, 120–150 mm letters are usually enough.

How much does it cost to brand an entire fleet?

It depends on the number of vehicles and the design area. A basic set for one truck (door logo, name, contacts, mandatory information) usually comes to EUR 60–150 excl. VAT; for 10 or more vehicles, the price per unit decreases.

Can you prepare a single quote for stickers, workwear and mugs together?

Yes, one PDF with product images, prices, print area, set-up fee and lead time for each item.

Send vehicle photos, your logo and approximate quantities to info@attaprint.lv, call or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote with prices and lead times within one business day. Contact details and our address in Riga, Kandavas iela 29A: attaprint.lv/kontakti.
