Printed Class T-shirts and Graduation Gifts: A School Guide
How schools and kindergartens order printed class T-shirts and graduation gifts: prices from 8 EUR, turnaround 3–10 business days, materials and artwork requirements.
Printed class T-shirts in spring 2026 cost roughly from 8 EUR per piece (excl. VAT) for an order of 25 pieces with a single-colour print on one side, and the standard production time is 5–10 business days after artwork approval. For graduations, the most popular orders are matching T-shirts or hoodies for the class, mugs with a class photo or drawing, and notebooks with the school's logo. We also work with single pieces, so if a student joins later, we can produce an extra T-shirt separately.
What schools order most often
Late May and early June is the busiest period. Experience shows that orders from schools and kindergartens fall into four groups:
- Class T-shirts — matching T-shirts with the class number, graduation year, students' names on the back, or a class motto.
- Event clothing — sports shirts for competitions, hoodies for the school team, polo shirts for teachers and staff conferences.
- Graduation gifts — mugs, notebooks, pens, water bottles, tote bags, towels with school branding.
- Printed materials — graduation posters, invitations, greeting cards, stickers, banners for photo corners.
For kindergartens, we most often produce small-sized T-shirts for the graduation morning and small gifts — mugs with the group's name or notebooks featuring the children's drawings.
Which T-shirt to choose
Fabric weight is the main factor that determines feel and price. Cotton T-shirts suit everyday wear and photos, while polyester sports shirts are better for competitions and hot weather.

Printing technologies and when to use them
Screen printing
Cost-effective from 30–50 pieces with one design. The print is wash-resistant, and the price per piece drops as quantity increases. Each additional colour changes the price, so it's best to plan a class design in 1–2 colours.
DTF printing
Suited for small quantities and multicolour designs — children's drawings, photos, individual names on each T-shirt. With DTF, you can produce 10 T-shirts, each with a different name, without extra setup fees.
Embroidery
The choice for a school logo on polo shirts and hoodies. Durable and looks professional, but not suitable for fine, small details.
Sublimation
Only suitable for light-coloured polyester sports shirts. The print doesn't form a surface layer, so the shirt stays breathable — a good solution for competitions.

Prices are indicative, excl. VAT. The final price depends on the chosen model, colour, number of print areas and colours, and turnaround time. Dark T-shirts with a light-coloured print require an extra base layer, so they're slightly more expensive.
Graduation gifts: what to choose by budget
A class or group gift usually has a set budget per child. A practical breakdown from our catalogue:
- Up to 3 EUR — pen with logo, small notebook, tote bag with single-colour print.
- 3–8 EUR — mug with a class photo, A5 notebook with hard covers, water bottle.
- 8–20 EUR — thermal mug, towel with embroidery, T-shirt with personalised print.

Turnaround and artwork requirements
The standard turnaround is 5–10 business days, depending on the product and quantity. For a large batch of printed clothing, allow 7–10 business days; for mugs and notebooks, 5–7; for printed materials, 2–5. Rush jobs are possible by arrangement.
May and June are busy months, so it's best to confirm graduation orders at least 3 weeks before the event. If you're planning T-shirts for the September Day of Knowledge (the first day of the school year in Latvia), early August is the last calm window.
Please send files as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf) in CMYK colour mode. If the design is a child's drawing, a good-quality scan or photo at a minimum of 300 dpi is enough — we'll handle the processing. Artwork preparation from your materials is usually included in the order; if a design needs to be created from scratch, we'll quote it separately.

Can each student's name be printed individually?
Yes. For such orders we use DTF printing, where each T-shirt is printed individually, so individual names or numbers don't increase the cost as significantly as with screen printing. Please send the list of names in an Excel or text file with the size specified for each.
How long does a graduation order take?
The standard turnaround is 3–10 business days: 7–10 business days for a large batch of printed clothing, 5–7 for mugs and notebooks, 3–5 for printed materials. In May and June, it's best to confirm orders at least 3 weeks before the graduation. Rush jobs are possible by arrangement.
Can you print a child's drawing on a T-shirt or mug?
Yes. A scan or good-quality photo at a minimum of 300 dpi resolution is enough — we'll process the drawing, clean up the background, and prepare the artwork. For multicolour drawings, we use DTF printing on clothing and heat transfer printing on mugs.
Do you work with schools and local authorities on invoice terms?
Yes, for schools, kindergartens, and local authorities we issue an invoice with deferred payment by arrangement. We prepare a quote with line items and a total within one business day so it can be submitted for approval.
Can I order just a few T-shirts, or one extra?
Yes — we also work with single pieces. If a size in a class order turns out to be wrong, or a new student joins, we can print an extra T-shirt separately using the same artwork.
