Mug with Logo Price: How Much Does It Cost and What's the Minimum Quantity

Indicative mug with logo prices by quantity tier, minimum quantities for each printing technology, and realistic production times.

White ceramic mugs with logo printing, lined up in a row

The price of a mug with a logo in Latvia currently starts from about 4.80 EUR per piece (excl. VAT) for a simple ceramic mug with single-colour printing, when ordering 300 pieces or more; at 50–100 pieces it's roughly 5.40–6.20 EUR, while for an order of 1–10 pieces it's 9–12 EUR per mug. Stainless steel thermal mugs with laser engraving start from about 12 EUR at 50 pieces. A one-off setup fee for screen printing or pad printing is approximately 25 EUR per colour; digital printing and laser engraving usually don't require this.

What determines the price of a mug with a logo

The final price is shaped by four factors: the purchase price of the mug itself, the printing technology, the number of colours, and the quantity. A ceramic mug is the cheapest base, a plastic thermal mug is mid-range, while a stainless steel vacuum mug is the most expensive.

Printing on a round surface is always more expensive than on a flat one: the mug needs to be fitted, centred, and then baked or dried after printing. That's why in an order of 10 pieces, the printing work can make up half the price, while in an order of 300 pieces it may account for less than a fifth.

Indicative prices by quantity

Prices are per piece, excl. VAT, including the mug and one print position. These are indicative — the exact price depends on the specific model, number of colours, and quantity.

Setup fee: screen printing or pad printing — approximately 25 EUR per colour per design; a second colour adds roughly 0.60–0.90 EUR per piece. No setup fee is charged for laser engraving or digital printing.

Minimum quantity by technology

  • Sublimation (full-colour photo printing on white ceramic) — from 1 piece. Suitable for gifts, personalised text, names.
  • Laser engraving — from 1 piece on steel, from 6 pieces on ceramic. The engraving doesn't wear off when washed.
  • Pad printing — practically from 24–36 pieces, as a printing plate (cliché) needs to be made.
  • Screen printing on round surfaces — from 36 pieces, economically worthwhile from 100 pieces.
  • 360° digital printing — from 12 pieces, allows printing colour gradients and photographs all around the body.

We also work with a single piece, but then you should expect the print setup work to be divided across just one product, making the per-piece price 2–3 times higher.

Lead times

Standard production time is 5–10 business days from artwork approval. Sublimation jobs in small quantities are usually ready faster — in 5–7 business days, while pad printing and screen printing for larger volumes take 7–10 business days. If the mug model or colour needs to be ordered additionally, the lead time extends by 3–5 days, so for larger events we recommend planning at least three weeks ahead. Urgent jobs are possible by arrangement.

How to prepare your logo

Printing requires vector graphics — .ai, .eps, or .pdf with outlined fonts, colours in CMYK or Pantone. Screen printing and pad printing require a separate layer for each colour. For photographs used in 360° digital printing, a raster file at 300 dpi resolution at print size is sufficient.

The typical print area for a ceramic mug is approximately 80x50 mm on one side, for a thermal mug — 50x50 mm or a band all around the body. Before production, we send a digital artwork proof with the print placement and size for approval. If you'd like to combine mugs with other print jobs, such as gift cards or stickers, these can be ordered in a single delivery — see all printing services.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order a single mug with a logo?

Yes. We work with sublimation on white ceramic or laser engraving on steel from as little as 1 piece. The price in that case is approximately 11–19 EUR per mug, depending on the model.

From how many pieces does the price drop significantly?

The first noticeable drop is at 50 pieces, the next — at 100 and 300 pieces. The difference between 10 and 300 pieces for a ceramic mug is approximately 35–40 percent per piece.

Will the print withstand a dishwasher?

Sublimation and baked pad printing on ceramic withstand dishwashing, though a gentle cycle up to 50 degrees is recommended. Laser engraving is the most durable solution, as no dyes are used at all. Plastic thermal mugs are best washed by hand.

How much does two-colour printing cost?

Each additional colour is charged as a separate printing plate at approximately 25 EUR plus roughly 0.60–0.90 EUR per piece. If the design has more than two colours or gradients, 360° digital printing or sublimation works out cheaper.

Is packaging included in the price?

The standard price includes the manufacturer's packaging and shipping boxes. Individual gift boxes or cardboard bands with a logo are charged separately — indicatively from 1.20 EUR per piece.

Can I see a sample before ordering?

Yes. We can produce one print sample; its cost matches the price of 1 piece, and for larger orders we usually include it in the total amount.
