Medical Workwear with Logo, Stickers and Patient Information Materials
A practical guide for clinics and pharmacies: how to brand lab coats and scrubs, which stickers withstand disinfection, and how much patient information materials cost.

Medical workwear with a logo is most commonly branded with embroidery — on lab coats, scrubs and fleece jackets it withstands washing at 60–95°C and industrial laundering, unlike many heat transfer methods. As a guide, embroidery in one position (chest logo up to 8 cm wide) starts from EUR 4.50 per piece excl. VAT from 10 units, with the price dropping for larger quantities. A medical facility's entire visual package — workwear, room and equipment stickers, patient leaflets and posters — can be ordered in one place, so colours and logo proportions match across all materials.
Printing methods for workwear in a medical setting
Medical clothing is washed frequently and at high temperatures, so choosing the right method matters more here than it would, say, for event T-shirts.
Embroidery
Suitable for lab coats, scrubs, polo shirts, fleece and softshell jackets. Withstands hot washing, doesn't crack or peel. Digitising the logo (creating the embroidery programme) is a one-off task — roughly EUR 20–35 — and we then use it for all future orders at no extra charge. The optimal logo size on the chest is 6–9 cm; small lettering under 4 mm is not recommended for embroidery.
DTF transfer
DTF transfers a full-colour image onto fabric with no minimum quantity — even a single piece. Good for names, job titles, department labels and colour codes. Washing at 40–60°C is safe; for industrial laundering with a 95°C cycle, embroidery is the safer option.
Screen printing
Cost-effective for large, identical runs — from 50 pieces upwards, for example staff T-shirts or shirts for blood donor days or prevention campaigns. The price drops as quantity increases and the number of colours decreases.
You can browse the full range of garment printing on the garment printing page, with specific items under T-shirts and sweatshirts and jackets.

Stickers in a clinic: where they're actually needed
In medical facilities, stickers serve a far more practical role than branding alone:
- Room and door labels — matt self-adhesive film with contour cutting, resistant to alcohol-based disinfectants.
- Equipment and inventory labelling — small stickers with a number, date and person responsible; sequential numbering is also possible.
- Pharmacy and reception price and promotion stickers — gloss film, easy to remove from glass.
- Floor and queue markings — thicker film with an anti-slip laminate.
- Hand hygiene and signage icons — white film or transparent film for glass.
We recommend matt film anywhere a sticker is wiped down regularly: it reflects less light and scratches are less noticeable. See the full range and materials under stickers.
Information materials for patients
Patient information only works when it's short and easy to read. In practice, three formats work best:
- A5 flyer for a single topic — preparing for tests, post-operative care, vaccination schedule. 500 pcs from EUR 55.
- A4 folded booklet — list of services, prices, specialist directory. Works well at reception and on the consultation table.
- A3–A2 posters in corridors — campaigns, opening hours, contact details. We produce A3–A0 formats in 2–5 business days after artwork approval, see posters.
This also includes reception cards with the next appointment date, referral forms and doctors' business cards — usually ordered in runs of 100–500 pcs under business cards and flyers.
Promotional products for conferences and prevention days
For health awareness days, blood donor campaigns and industry conferences, the most popular items from our catalogue are water bottles, thermal mugs, notebooks, pens, tote bags and towels. Reflective elements and first-aid pouches are also practical for medical facilities. The minimum order for most catalogue items is 25–50 pcs, and printing is usually 1–2 colours or UV printing. See the catalogue section — promotional products with logo.
Files, timelines and process
Please send your logo in vector format (.ai, .eps, .pdf), with colours in CMYK or specified Pantone codes. If a vector file isn't available, we can recreate it from a good-quality image — usually EUR 15–30. For embroidery, we also need to know the garment colour in order to match the thread shades.
| Stage | Time |
|---|---|
| Quote upon request | 1 business day |
| Artwork or embroidery sample for approval | 1–2 business days |
| Sticker and digital printing production | 2–5 business days |
| Garment printing (embroidery, screen printing) | 5–10 business days after artwork approval |
| Urgent jobs | by agreement |
If a facility is planning a unified visual package, we recommend ordering in stages: first approve the embroidery sample on a single lab coat, then produce the full run. This avoids a situation where the logo turns out too large across 40 coats.
Frequently asked questions
Does embroidery withstand industrial laundering at 95°C?
Yes, with polyester threads and the correct choice of backing, embroidery withstands hot washing and drying. That's why we recommend embroidery rather than heat transfer printing for lab coats and scrubs that are laundered centrally.
What's the minimum order quantity?
We produce stickers, posters, DTF transfers and digital printing from as little as 1 piece. The minimum for screen printing is around 50 pcs, and for catalogue promotional products it's usually 25–50 pcs. The price per unit drops significantly for larger quantities.
Will the stickers withstand disinfectants?
Alcohol-based disinfectants have no effect on matt or gloss self-adhesive film with lamination — this is the standard solution for room doors, equipment and table surfaces. Without lamination, frequent wiping can wear down the printed colour, so we always include lamination in high-contact areas.
Can you produce stickers with different numbers?
Yes, we prepare variable data — inventory numbers, serial numbers, QR codes or dates — from your Excel file and produce them within a single print run.
How long do patient booklets take?
If the artwork is ready, digital printing takes 2–5 business days. If we create the artwork for you, add 1–2 days for design and approval.
Send us your list — how many lab coats, what sticker sizes, and what quantities of information materials you need — to info@attaprint.lv or WhatsApp +371 25776699, and project manager Madara will prepare a quote within one business day. Our office is located at Kandavas iela 29A, Riga; you're welcome to view samples in person by prior arrangement.
