Forestry Work Wear with Logo and Equipment Marking
A guide for forestry companies: how to put together a work wear set with your logo, where to place embroidery, and how to mark harvesters and trailers with vinyl stickers.

Forestry work wear with a logo is, in practice, a 4–6 item set: T-shirt or polo shirt, trousers, fleece jacket, work vest, and a reflective vest worn over everything. Catalogue prices at 100 pieces start from EUR 6.35 for a T-shirt and EUR 8.51 for work trousers (excl. VAT, excl. printing). Producing printed clothing usually takes 6–10 business days, while stickers for machinery and equipment are made in 1–3 business days. Below you'll find how to choose the right printing method, where a logo survives in the forest, and what to consider when marking a harvester or trailer.
Why forestry work wear has different requirements
On a logging site, clothing comes into contact with resin, bark, fuel, mud, and frequent washing at 60 degrees. That means any decoration on a shirt — printing or embroidery — isn't tested visually, but mechanically: it rubs against the harvester seat, catches on branches, and goes through dozens of washes per season.

The second point is recognisability. When your crew, the client's representative, and a driver are all working on site at the same time, a logo on the back and a reflective vest is the simplest way to tell who's your person. The third point is site visits and meetings with forest owners: a clean polo shirt with an embroidered logo changes the tone of the conversation.
Clothing layers: what to order and how much
A practical set for one worker for the season:
- 2–3 T-shirts or polo shirts (base layer, washed more often)
- 1–2 work trousers or shorts for summer
- 1 fleece jacket and 1 zip sweatshirt
- 1 work vest with pockets for tools and a phone
- reflective vest (the part replaced most often, as it gets damaged the most)
You'll find all of this in the work wear section. We also work with small quantities — if your crew has 6 people, an order of 12 shirts is no problem, just the price per piece is slightly higher.
A note on cut-resistant PPE
Chainsaw cut-resistant trousers, safety boots, and helmets with a visor are certified personal protective equipment (EN ISO 11393 category) — these are purchased from a safety equipment supplier, not a print shop. Printing or embroidery must not be placed in the protective-layer zone of certified PPE, as this can affect the certification. In practice, we place logos on base-layer clothing, fleece items, vests, and caps, while leaving certified garments untouched or marking them only in areas permitted by the manufacturer.
Embroidery, DTF, or screen printing: which to choose
| Printing method | Where it suits forestry work | Durability | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embroidery (up to 90×90 mm) | Polo shirts, fleece jackets, vests, caps | Highest, withstands frequent washing | Fine text and thin letters don't work well; logo needs simplifying |
| DTF transfer | T-shirts, small batches, names on the back | Good if washed at up to 40–60°C | Possible from 1 pc, full colour at no extra cost |
| Screen printing | Large batches of T-shirts, 1–3 colour logos | Very good | Cost-effective from ~30–50 pcs, price drops with quantity |
| Sublimation | Polyester shirts, not for reflective parts | Doesn't fade | Only for light-coloured polyester fabrics |
Standard printing areas: chest on the left side 110×90 mm, front or back up to 280×210 mm, sleeve 80×60 mm. The most common combination in forestry is an embroidered logo on the chest and a larger name with phone number on the back, so it's visible from the tractor cab. Marking machinery, trailers, and containers
The other side of your company's image in forestry is the equipment. A harvester, forwarder, timber trailer, or container is seen from the road far more often than your website, which is why stickers pay off quickly.
What we typically print:
- Company name and logo on cab doors and trailer sides — laminated vinyl film, contour-cut to the logo shape
- Large-size phone number and website on the back of the trailer
- Reflective stickers and warning signs on protruding parts and pinch points
- Instruction, maintenance, and warning stickers, including translations into Latvian if the machine was imported with foreign-language labelling
- Inventory numbers and QR codes for chainsaw cases, fuel canisters, and toolboxes
For outdoor conditions, we use PP film or laminated vinyl — it withstands UV, high-pressure washing, and winter salt. More details on materials in the sticker printing section. Reflective hanging items and reflectors for employees and their families can be found in the reflective products category.
Prices and timelines: how to calculate a set
An approximate calculation for a crew, 100 pcs of each item, excl. VAT and excl. printing: T-shirt 6.35 + polo shirt 8.43 + trousers 8.51 + sweatshirt 15.99 + fleece jacket 15.99 + vest 19.19 EUR. Printing or embroidery comes on top — usually EUR 1–4 per piece depending on size, number of colours, and method, plus a one-off setup fee per printing location.
| Item | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Quote with prices and printing locations | 1 business day |
| Stickers, posters, business cards | 1–3 business days |
| Clothing with printing or embroidery | 6–10 business days (production 4–7 + delivery 2–3) |
| Urgent jobs | by agreement |
We send quotes online and as a PDF with product images, prices, printing location, and timeline for each item. On request, we prepare a 3D preview with your logo, so you can see how the embroidery will look on the specific vest colour.
Frequently asked questions
Can you put a logo on my cut-resistant trousers?
We don't print on the protective-layer zone of certified PPE, as this can affect the certification. We place logos on base-layer shirts, fleece jackets, vests, and caps; for any specific garment, we always assess it individually and tell you honestly whether it can be marked.
Which printing method best withstands forestry conditions?
Embroidery. It doesn't peel and withstands frequent washing, so it suits polo shirts, fleece jackets, and vests. For large text on the back, we use screen printing or DTF transfer.
What's the smallest order you accept?
For clothing printing, we also work with 1 piece; stickers and posters are printed from 1 pc. Socks with a woven-in logo are the only exception — the minimum there is 100 pairs.
What files do you need for the logo?
Vector graphics in .ai, .eps, .pdf, or .svg, colours in CMYK. If only a raster image is available, it needs to be 300 dpi at actual size. If there's no vector file, we can redraw the logo for a separate fee.
Can you put stickers on a harvester or trailer?
We produce contour-cut vinyl stickers to your sizes and logo, laminated for outdoor conditions. For smaller elements, the client usually applies the stickers themselves following our instructions; for larger projects, we discuss the solution separately.
Can you print instruction stickers for machinery in Latvian?
Yes. We print instruction, composition, and warning stickers, including translations, on durable laminated film — even in small batches.
Send us your number of employees, sizes, and logo to info@attaprint.lv or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699 — we'll prepare a quote with prices, printing locations, and timelines within one business day.
