Poster Printing A3, A4 and A2: Price and Turnaround from 1 Piece

Poster printing in A3 starts at around 4.00 EUR per piece (excl. VAT) on 200 g paper, A4 from around 2.50 EUR, while A2 costs 6.00 EUR per piece, from 10 pcs – 4.50 EUR, from 50 pcs – 3.20 EUR. We print from a single copy, and the standard turnaround is 1–3 business days; urgent jobs are often produced the same or next day by arrangement.

Which formats we print

We work with all standard A-series formats from A4 to A0, as well as non-standard sizes – for example, 500×700 mm or tall vertical posters for shop windows. If you only need one A3 poster for an event at a café, that's no problem: digital printing doesn't require print plates, so small quantities remain cost-effective.

Prices are excl. VAT, on 200 g paper, with single-sided full-colour printing. A2 and A1 prices are our price-list rates, A4 and A3 are indicative, as the final price depends on paper, quantity and finishing. We include the exact amount in the quote.

Paper and finishing

The standard choice for posters is 200 g matte or gloss art paper. Matte doesn't reflect shop or office lighting and is better when a poster has a lot of text; gloss gives richer colours for photos and food images.

• 170 g – an economical option for short-term posters stuck on a wall or stand.
• 200 g – our standard, holds its shape in A2 and A1 sizes and doesn't curl in a shop window.
• 250–300 g – if the poster stands on a table easel or is moved around often.
• Laminating – matte or gloss film against moisture and scuffing; useful for menus, entrance information and posters in production facilities.

If a poster needs to be rigid – for example, an information sign or exhibition stand – we print on boards: Komatex 3 mm from 25.60 EUR/m², Komatex 5 mm from 32.00 EUR/m², Neobond aluminium composite with UV printing from 64.00 EUR/m². An A2 board made of 3 mm Komatex therefore costs around 6–7 EUR for material and printing.

How much a small quantity costs

For one or two copies, the price includes setup and printing time, so the per-piece price is higher. From 10 pieces, the price drops by 20–25%, from 50 pieces – by almost half, since we print larger formats in one roll pass with minimal material left over.

Examples from real orders:

• 1 pc A3 concert poster – around 4.00 EUR.
• 20 pcs A2 posters for an event network – 4.50 EUR/pc, total 90.00 EUR.
• 50 pcs A1 posters for shops – 5.50 EUR/pc, total 275.00 EUR.

All amounts excl. VAT. If you need several different designs in one batch, the volume discount usually still applies, since the total print area stays the same.

Turnaround and delivery

Our prints – posters, stickers and business cards – are produced in 1–3 business days from artwork approval. Small batches of up to 20 pcs in A3 or A2 format are most often ready the next business day. If your event is tomorrow, write or call – we arrange urgent jobs by agreement, and in that case it's important that the file is already print-ready.

You can collect your order from our production facility at Kandavas iela 29A, Riga. Delivery by our partner courier in Riga costs 16.00 EUR per trip; to the regions, we ship via parcel locker or courier service according to their rates. Larger-format posters are rolled into a cardboard tube so they don't get creased.

How to prepare your file

For the print to look as planned, we need:

• Vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg) or a PDF with embedded fonts.
• CMYK colour profile; we convert RGB files, and bright blue and green tones may become more subdued.
• 300 dpi for raster images at actual size (for an A2 poster that's around 4960×7016 px).
• 3 mm bleed on each side if the background runs to the edge, and important elements at least 5 mm from the cut line.

If you don't have artwork, we can prepare it – for a simple poster with your text, logo and image, layout design is typically 20–40 EUR. Before printing, we send a PDF for approval by email, and we only start production after your "OK".

What's often ordered together

Posters are often ordered alongside other event materials. In our large-format printing section, we produce PVC banners from 14.40 EUR/m², roll-up banner stands and beach flags, while in digital printing – flyers, programmes, invitations and catalogues (A4, 8 pages, 170 g – from 3.50 EUR/pc, from 250 pcs – 1.90 EUR/pc plus 15.00 EUR setup). If a poster needs to become window graphics, we also print transparent stickers from 48.00 EUR/m².

Frequently asked questions

Do you print a single poster?

Yes. There's no minimum quantity in digital printing, so a single A3 or A2 poster is a perfectly normal order. The per-piece price is simply higher than at 10 or 50 copies.

How long do I have to wait for A3 posters?

The standard turnaround is 1–3 business days from artwork approval. Small batches are often ready the next business day, but we agree urgent jobs separately.

What's the difference between matte and gloss paper?

Matte doesn't create glare under lights and is easier to read, while gloss gives more contrast and richer colours for photos. Both are available in 170–250 g thickness.

Can a poster be laminated or mounted on a board?

Yes. Laminating protects against moisture and scuffing, while for rigidity we print on Komatex 3 mm (25.60 EUR/m²) or 5 mm (32.00 EUR/m²). Such boards can be hung, placed on a stand or screwed to a wall.

What file format should I send?

Best is a PDF with embedded fonts, CMYK, 300 dpi and a 3 mm bleed. We also accept JPG and PNG if the resolution at actual size is sufficient.

Is delivery outside Riga possible?

Yes, we ship by courier or parcel locker; large posters are packed in a cardboard tube. Delivery by our partner courier within Riga is 16.00 EUR per trip.
