Banner Printing Price 2026: How Much Does m² Cost and What's Included
How much does a PVC banner cost per square metre, what's already included in the price (welded edges, eyelets), what materials are available, and how long you'll wait for your order.

Banner printing prices in Latvia in 2026 for standard 440 g/m² frontlit PVC material run at approximately 14–18 EUR per square metre excl. VAT — for smaller banners (up to 3 m²) expect the higher end, while from 30 m² the price drops to around 13 EUR/m². This price usually already includes full-colour printing, welded edges and metal eyelets every 50 cm, so the banner arrives ready to install. Standard production time is 3–5 business days; urgent jobs can be arranged by agreement.
Indicative pricing by area
Banners are priced by square metre, not by piece, so a 1×3 m and a 3×1 m banner cost the same. Below are indicative prices for 440 g/m² frontlit PVC material with welded edges and eyelets.
| Total area | Price per m² (excl. VAT) | Example |
|---|---|---|
| up to 3 m² | from ~18 EUR | 1×2 m banner ~36 EUR |
| 3–10 m² | from ~15 EUR | 2×3 m banner ~90 EUR |
| 10–30 m² | from ~14 EUR | 3×5 m banner ~210 EUR |
| from 30 m² | from ~13 EUR | 4×10 m banner ~520 EUR |
Prices are indicative — the exact amount depends on the material, total area, finishing type, and whether the order is one large banner or several small ones. Repeating the same design always costs less than ten different artworks.
What's included in the price
The standard banner price includes:
- full-colour (CMYK) printing on PVC with UV-resistant inks;
- welded edges around the perimeter (~3 cm hem) that prevent the material from tearing;
- metal eyelets (grommets) in the corners and every ~50 cm along the edges;
- file check before printing and digital artwork approval;
- preparation fee — 0 EUR if you supply a print-ready vector file.
Additional finishing is charged separately: pole pockets, mounting tape, reinforced rope edging, as well as design work from scratch if you don't have artwork ready.
Choosing a material and price differences
Frontlit PVC 440 g/m²
The most common solution for outdoor and indoor banners — facades, fences, event backdrops. Lasts several seasons, is flexible and withstands moisture well.
Mesh (perforated) banner
Features micro-perforation that lets wind through. Needed for large facade banners and fencing in windy locations. Price is usually 2–3 EUR/m² higher than frontlit.
Blockout 550–650 g/m²
A thick, opaque material with a black middle layer — used for double-sided banners and anywhere light must not show through. Price is approximately 4–6 EUR/m² higher.
Roll-up and photo banners
If you need a portable solution for an office or exhibition, a roll-up banner stand system 85×200 cm with cassette, bag and printed polymer fabric costs from approximately 65 EUR excl. VAT. All options can be viewed in the banners and roll-up banner stands section.
How to reduce costs
Two things affect the final amount the most — total area and artwork readiness. If several events are planned over the year, it's more cost-effective to order all banners at once: 4 banners of 2×1 m (8 m² total) will cost around 15 EUR/m² instead of 18 EUR/m² each separately.
Second — avoid printing dates on the banner if the event repeats every year. A neutral banner lasts 3–5 seasons, while the year number can be added with a separate sticker. Stickers on matte or glossy adhesive film cost indicatively from ~24 EUR/m², from 5 m² — from ~21 EUR/m², from 20 m² — from ~18 EUR/m², with contour cutting an extra ~8 EUR/m².
File requirements and turnaround
For banners we accept vector graphics — .ai, .eps or .pdf, in CMYK colour space, with text converted to outlines. Artwork can be prepared either at actual size with 100 dpi resolution, or at 1:10 scale with 300 dpi. Images from a stock photo library are fine at 100–150 dpi at actual size, since banners are viewed from several metres away.
Important: leave at least a 5 cm safety margin from the edge so text and logos don't disappear under the welding and eyelets. If no file is provided, or it's in Word/JPG format, artwork preparation costs approximately from 20 EUR depending on the amount of work.
| Product | Turnaround after artwork approval |
|---|---|
| PVC banner up to 10 m² | 3–4 business days |
| PVC banner over 10 m² | 4–5 business days |
| Roll-up banner stand system | 3–5 business days |
| Urgent jobs | by agreement, depending on workload |
Posters, which often come as part of a banner order, are produced faster — A2 format costs indicatively from ~6 EUR/pc, from 10 pcs ~4.50 EUR, from 50 pcs ~3.20 EUR; A1 respectively ~9 / ~7 / ~5.50 EUR. These can be ordered in the posters section.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a 3×1 m banner cost?
That's a 3 m² area, so approximately 45–54 EUR excl. VAT with welded edges and eyelets. The exact price is confirmed after choosing the material and receiving the artwork.
Do eyelets and edge finishing cost extra?
No, standard welded edges and eyelets every 50 cm are included in the price per square metre. Only non-standard finishing is charged extra — pole pockets, reinforced rope edging or mounting tape.
How long does an outdoor banner last in Latvian weather conditions?
Frontlit PVC with UV inks keeps its colours outdoors for 2–3 seasons, and up to 5 years if properly stretched and placed in a sheltered location. Most often a banner wears out not from the sun but from flapping in the wind, so it's important to secure it at every eyelet.
Do you produce a single banner?
Yes, we also work with single pieces. For one small banner the price per m² will be higher, but there's no minimum order limit.
What should I do if I don't have artwork ready?
Send us your logo in vector format, the text and a rough idea — we'll prepare the artwork and send it for approval. Design work starts at approximately 20 EUR excl. VAT depending on complexity.
Can you make a double-sided banner?
Yes, this uses a blockout material with an opaque middle layer. The price for this solution is approximately twice as high as single-sided, since both sides are printed.
