Printed PVC Boards: Signage and Information Signs
Printed PVC boards for signage — Neoband foam PVC from 3 to 10 mm, printing from approx. 25 EUR/m², contour cutting 8 EUR/m². Production in 3–10 business days.

Printed PVC boards are one of the most commonly ordered signage solutions: a Neoband-type foam PVC board, 3–10 mm thick, with printed self-adhesive film applied on top. Printing on matte or gloss adhesive film costs approximately from 24 EUR/m² excl. VAT (from 5 m² — 22 EUR/m², from 20 m² — 19 EUR/m²), contour cutting is extra from 8 EUR/m², and the board material with lamination costs, depending on thickness, approximately 12–30 EUR/m². The standard production time is 2–5 business days; urgent jobs can be arranged on request.
What is Neoband and how does it differ
Neoband is a foam (extruded) PVC board — a lightweight, dense material with a smooth matte surface that takes adhesive film well. It is rigid yet can be cut with an ordinary knife or router, which means it can also be made into non-standard shapes: arrows, contours, logo silhouettes.
Compared with other materials:
- Foam PVC (Neoband) 3–10 mm — for indoor use and partially sheltered outdoor settings, the lightest option for wall signage.
- Rigid PVC — thinner and more flexible, typically 1–2 mm, suitable for sticking onto a flat surface.
- Composite panel (aluminium) — heavier and more expensive, used for outdoor facades requiring a long service life.
For indoor and courtyard signage, 5 mm foam PVC is, in practice, the optimal compromise between price, weight and rigidity.
What kind of signage these printed boards are suitable for
- Room and floor signage in offices, schools, clinics (office numbers, directional arrows).
- Health and safety and order signs in factories and warehouses.
- Price tags, menus and information stands in cafés and shops.
- Event signage: registration, cloakroom, stage, car park.
- Municipal and sports club information boards, sponsor walls.
If the signage needs to change frequently (for example, a seasonal offer), it's cheaper to make one board and periodically apply a new printed layer on top — printed stickers cost less than a new board.
Thicknesses, sizes and applications
| Thickness | Where used | Maximum practical size |
|---|---|---|
| 3 mm | Small signs, office plates, price tags | up to 500×700 mm |
| 5 mm | Wall and door signage, information boards | up to 1000×2000 mm |
| 8 mm | Freestanding signs, stands, cut-out letters | up to 1560×3050 mm |
| 10 mm | Load-bearing structures, photo stands | up to 1560×3050 mm |
The standard sheet size is 1560×3050 mm, so larger areas are made from several sections with a planned seam. We produce boards in any format — from A4 up to a full sheet.
Pricing
A printed board consists of three parts: printing on adhesive film, the board material with lamination, and, if needed, contour cutting. All prices are approximate, excl. VAT, and depend on thickness and order volume.
| Item | Price excl. VAT (approx.) |
|---|---|
| Printing on matte or gloss adhesive film | from 24.00 EUR/m² |
| ...from 5 m² | from 22.00 EUR/m² |
| ...from 20 m² | from 19.00 EUR/m² |
| Contour cutting | from 8.00 EUR/m² |
| Artwork preparation (stickers and boards) | 0.00 EUR |
| Foam PVC 3 mm with lamination | from 12 EUR/m² |
| Foam PVC 5 mm with lamination | from 18 EUR/m² |
| Foam PVC 10 mm with lamination | from 28 EUR/m² |
For example, a single A3 sign (297×420 mm, 5 mm PVC) costs approximately 8–12 EUR, while ten identical A3 signs cost approximately 5–7 EUR each, as the material is arranged on a single sheet with no offcuts. The exact price depends on quantity, size, thickness and whether a contour shape is required. You can also order double-sided printing, mounting holes or standoffs, as well as lamination against scratches and UV.
If you need signage for a short period or an event, consider a cheaper option — paper posters and placards, A2 from 6.00 EUR or A1 from 9.00 EUR per piece (from 10 pcs, 4.50 and 7.00 EUR respectively).
How production works
- Artwork and check. We receive the file, check resolution, colours and dimensions, and send a digital proof for approval.
- Printing. Printing is done on adhesive film — matte for indoor signage (less glare under lighting) or gloss if more saturated colours are needed.
- Lamination. The film is applied to the board without air bubbles.
- Cutting. Straight sizes are cut to dimension; complex shapes are cut to contour.
- Finishing. Mounting holes, rounded corners, double-sided tape or standoffs for installation.
Files and preparation
The best result comes from vector graphics: .ai, .eps or .pdf with text converted to outlines, in CMYK colour space. If the board includes a photograph, a resolution of at least 150 dpi at final size is recommended. Allow a 3 mm bleed and keep important text at least 10 mm from the edge — especially if the board will have a frame or mounting holes.
Artwork checking and prepress preparation are free of charge. If the artwork hasn't been designed yet, we can create it according to your instructions — we'll estimate the scope of work in advance.
Lead times and quantities
We also work with single-piece orders — there's no minimum order quantity. The standard lead time for printed boards is 2–5 business days; for larger sets (for example, 50–200 signs for one site), 5–10 business days. Urgent jobs are possible by arrangement, if the material is in stock. Orders can be collected at Kandavas iela 29A, Riga, or we can ship by courier; for impact protection and transport of large-format boards we use cardboard edge guards.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a single A3 sign on a PVC board cost?
Approximately 8–12 EUR excl. VAT per piece, 5 mm thick. When ordering 10 or more identical signs, the price drops to approximately 5–7 EUR per piece, as the boards are arranged on a single sheet.
Can a Neoband board be used outdoors?
Yes, but with conditions. Foam PVC with laminated print lasts approximately 1–3 years outdoors, depending on sun exposure and moisture. For long-term outdoor use on facades, we recommend a composite panel or a greater thickness with a frame.
Can boards be made in unusual shapes — arrows, circles, a logo silhouette?
Yes. We cut to contour; contour cutting is approximately from 8.00 EUR/m². Send the contour in vector format as a separate line in the artwork.
How are the boards mounted on a wall?
We use double-sided mounting tape (for smooth walls), drilled holes for screws, or metal standoffs that hold the board 15–20 mm away from the wall. The mounting method is agreed before production, as hole positions need to be included in the artwork.
Can I order just one board?
Yes, there's no minimum order. For large quantities the price per piece is lower, as material offcuts and setup time are reduced.
