Standard production time is 3–5 business days from artwork approval; urgent jobs by arrangement.\n\n## What's included in a roll-up set\n\nA roll-up stand consists of three parts: an aluminium cassette with a built-in spring roller, a telescopic pole, and the print itself. The print is fixed to the roller with double-sided tape and feeds into the cassette at the bottom, so the material needs to be prepared with some extra allowance.\n\nWe print on blockout material — opaque, with a black middle layer, so the stand's pole doesn't show through against backlight and the image doesn't appear washed out. It's not worth saving money on thinner, cheaper film: it starts to ripple after the very first event. The set also includes a carry bag with a handle; heavier 150 cm models come with reinforced fabric.\n\n### Why a replaceable print matters\n\nThe cassette is a mechanism built to withstand hundreds of openings. Content changes faster than hardware — a new campaign, a different price list, a different sponsor. If the system is good quality, you won't need to buy everything again a year later: we unscrew the sides of the cassette, remove the old sheet, and insert the new one. We also work with single-unit orders — there's no minimum order quantity.\n\n## Preparing your artwork\n\nThe best option is vector graphics — .ai, .eps or .pdf with text converted to curves, colours in CMYK. For photos, 100–150 dpi at actual size is enough, since stands are viewed from a distance of 1.5–3 metres.\n\n- Actual size. For an 85x200 stand, we create the artwork at 850x2000 mm or 1:10 scale.\n- Bottom allowance. The lowest 50–60 mm feeds into the cassette — no logo or text should be placed there.\n- Top allowance. Approx. 20 mm below the top profile rail.\n- Safe zone. Leave 20 mm from the sides; place important information at a height of 100–170 cm — that's eye level.\n- No thin lines. Lines under 0.5 pt and 6 pt text simply aren't readable on a stand.\n\nIf your artwork isn't ready, we can put it together ourselves from your logo, text and images — usually EUR 25–45 depending on complexity. Before printing, we send a PDF for approval.\n\n## Lead times and collection\n\nWe produce standard roll-up stands in 3–5 business days after artwork approval. For orders of 5 or more stands, or double-sided prints, the lead time may extend to 5 business days. Damage usually comes not from time, but from rolling up the stand with dirty hands or storing it without the bag.\n\nCan a roll-up be used outdoors?\n\nBriefly — yes, but only in windless conditions. The spring mechanism and flat base aren't designed to withstand wind. For outdoor events, PVC banners with eyelets or structures with water/sand ballast are more suitable; we can advise once we know the location and size.\n\nWhat resolution does a photo need?\n\n100–150 dpi at actual size. In practice, this means that for an 85x200 cm stand, the image should be at least approx. 3500x8000 px.
