What the price depends on
Cassette class
Economy cassettes have a thinner aluminium profile wall and a simpler support pole — suitable for 5-15 uses per year. Standard and premium cassettes with a replaceable tape profile let you change only the print while keeping the same frame. If you take the stand to exhibitions every month, the 20-30 EUR difference pays off quickly.
Material
The most common choice is blockout polymer film, 220-250 g/m², with a grey inner layer that prevents light showing through the image and stops it wrinkling. The cheaper option is plain PVC film without a blockout layer — it is thinner, and against the light the image on the reverse side becomes visible.
Size and quantity
Width is the main price factor: going from 85 to 150 cm, material consumption and cassette costs nearly double. We also work with single units, but for events needing 4-6 stands for different branches, we put together a quote as a set.
Choosing material and construction by use case
- Office, shop, permanent display — standard cassette, blockout 250 g/m². The image keeps its shape even after a year if the stand is rarely rolled up and down.
- Conferences and exhibitions — premium cassette with two support points and a sturdy bag; fast setup matters here, 1-2 minutes.
- Outdoor events — a roll-up is not wind-resistant. PVC or photo banners with eyelets or a tensioned frame are more practical outdoors.
- Short-term, low-budget promotion — sometimes an A1 poster is enough: A1, 200 gsm paper, from 9 EUR/pc, from 10 pcs — 7 EUR, from 50 pcs — 5.50 EUR.
How to prepare your file
We accept vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf) in CMYK colour mode. For raster images at full size, a minimum of 100-150 dpi is required; if the file is at 1:10 scale, then 1000-1500 dpi respectively.
The most important thing is the safe zones:
- The bottom 40-50 mm sit inside the cassette and are not visible — don't place a logo or text there.
- The top 30 mm is covered by the upper profile.
- 5 mm margins on each side are recommended as a free edge.
- Key information should sit between 100 and 180 cm from the floor — this is eye level for most viewers.
- Minimum text size — 20-24 pt; text meant to be read from 2-3 m away should not be smaller.

Add-ons for your event
Alongside the stand, you'll often also need handouts. Popular choices from our catalogue for exhibitions include the Doré roller pen with laser engraving, the Legato Elegance A5 notebook and roller pen set, the Parker IM roller pen for higher-value gifts, and the Byron 15.6" GRS RPET roll-top backpack (18 l, 10 colours) with embroidery or screen printing. Frequently asked questions
How much does just a new print for my existing roll-up cost?
If your cassette has a replaceable tape profile, a new print for 85x200 cm costs from 35 EUR excl. VAT, and for 100x200 cm — from 42 EUR. Bring the cassette to Kandavas iela 29A so we can check the profile type — on older models the tape is glued in and cannot be replaced.
Which size is the most practical?
85x200 cm is the standard for conferences and offices: it fits through hallways, is easy to carry (around 3 kg) and cheaper. 100x200 cm is chosen when there's more information to display, or when the stand serves as the main focal point in a hall.
Will the print withstand outdoor conditions?
Blockout material is not designed for rain and wind. Outdoors, the stand should only be placed under cover and in calm conditions. For regular outdoor use, a 440 g/m² PVC banner or a mesh banner on a frame is more suitable.
How long does a roll-up stand last?
A standard cassette withstands 100-150 roll-ups. The most common issue isn't the cassette but the print — tears at the edges from careless rolling. We therefore recommend always transporting the stand in its bag and not leaving it extended in the sun for years, as colours fade.
Can you create the design?
Yes. If you have a vector logo and text, a simple layout costs from 30 EUR. Before printing, we send a PDF proof for approval, and work doesn't start without your confirmation.
