Taxi Stickers and Transport Branding: A Practical Guide
How to choose taxi stickers, removable car markings, in-cabin information stickers and logo-branded driver uniforms. Materials, sizes, indicative prices and turnaround times.

We most commonly print taxi stickers on polymer vinyl with contour cutting: door markings with company name and phone number, side numbers, a tariff panel for the cabin, and QR stickers with a price list or review link. Standard turnaround at our production facility on Kandavas iela 29A is 1–3 business days, and the indicative price for a door set (2 pcs up to A4 size) starts at around 15 EUR excl. VAT. For runs of 10+ cars, the price per piece drops 2–3 times. Logo-branded clothing — polo shirts, jackets, caps — with printing takes longer: usually 6–10 business days.
What carriers typically need to mark
In passenger transport (NACE 49.33), marking falls into three groups, each with its own material and lifespan:
- Exterior marking — company name, logo, phone number, vehicle registration number on doors or rear. Exposure: washing, road salt, UV.
- In-cabin information — tariffs, carrier details, licence information, complaint procedure, prohibition icons (smoking, eating), a QR code for payments or surveys.
- Staff and passenger experience — logo-branded driver clothing, reflective vests, lanyards with passes, small gifts for regular customers.
Requirements for the scope and content of markings vary by municipality and type of transport (taxi, chartered transport, long-distance coach), so before printing we recommend checking the exact text, size and placement against current regulations and your licensing authority's requirements. We prepare the artwork based on the content and sizes you provide, confirm it by email, and only then proceed to printing.
Materials: which film suits vehicle marking
Vinyl with contour cutting
Laminated polymer vinyl is the standard choice for exterior marking: it withstands high-pressure washing, road salt doesn't damage it, and once removed it leaves no adhesive residue on the paintwork, provided the film hasn't been on the car for several years. Contour cutting allows the logo or lettering to be cut to shape, without a rectangular background — so the marking looks as if it were painted on.
Removable and transferable solution
If your car is leased or works for several platforms, use a film with more easily removable adhesive, or markings on a separate panel plate that can be taken off at the end of a shift. Magnetic signs only work on flat metal surfaces and aren't suitable for plastic doors — if you specifically need this solution, let us know and we'll assess your vehicle and sizing individually.
Cabin stickers
Paper or PP film sheet stickers work well in the cabin: a tariff panel on the window (often a transparent film printed from the inside), seat icons, a QR code on the back of the seat. We print transparent and metallic stickers in the same stickers section, both in sheets and rolls.
Indicative prices
The figures below are indicative, excl. VAT. The exact price depends on size, material, contour cutting and quantity.
| Item | Size / quantity | Indicative price excl. VAT |
|---|---|---|
| Door marking, vinyl + laminated | up to A4, 2 pcs per car | from 15 EUR per car |
| Side numbers, contour-cut | 10–15 cm, 4 pcs | from 12 EUR per set |
| Tariff sticker for cabin | A6–A5, 10 pcs | from 1.20 EUR/pc |
| QR stickers on PP film | 50×50 mm, 100 pcs | from 0.25 EUR/pc |
| Polo shirt with embroidered logo | 20 pcs, logo up to 90×90 mm | from 18 EUR/pc |
| Jacket with logo on chest and back | 10 pcs | from 42 EUR/pc |
If you're marking your entire fleet at once, scaling up the order is the most cost-effective step: the setup fee (cutting path, artwork adjustment) is spread across all the vehicles, and a 20-car set in one order costs considerably less than two batches of ten.
Logo-branded driver clothing
In passenger transport, clothing works as part of the overall branding — passengers recognise the driver, and it works in your favour during inspections. Standard printing areas we work with:
- left chest — 110×90 mm (logo on polo shirt, shirt, jacket);
- front or back — up to 280×210 mm (company name, phone number, platform sign);
- sleeve — 80×60 mm;
- embroidery — up to 90×90 mm.
For polo shirts and jackets, we recommend embroidery (it withstands frequent washing); for T-shirts and hoodies — screen printing for larger runs or DTF transfer for small quantities and full-colour logos. Caps and beanies are embroidered. You can see everything in the clothing printing section, and browse models — T-shirts and polo shirts — in the catalogue.
Files and turnaround times
Please send your logo as a vector file: .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg, in CMYK colours; if there are photos or raster elements, 300 dpi is required. If you don't have a vector file, we can redraw it — this is listed as a separate line item in the quote.
Our own printing (stickers, tariff panels, business cards, posters) — 1–3 business days. Promotional products and logo-printed clothing — usually 6–10 business days: production 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus 2–3 days delivery. Urgent jobs, such as marking a single car before an inspection, are completed by arrangement.
Send us your car make, the dimensions of the surfaces to be marked, and your text to info@attaprint.lv, call +371 25776699 or message us on WhatsApp at the same number — we'll prepare a quote with prices, printing area and turnaround time for each item within one business day, with a 3D preview featuring your logo on request.
FAQ
How long do printed taxi stickers last on a vehicle?
On polymer vinyl with lamination, exterior marking realistically lasts 2–4 years, depending on how often the car is washed with high pressure and whether it's parked outdoors in the sun. Cabin stickers on PP film last longer, as they aren't exposed to UV or road salt.
Can you make removable markings if the car is leased?
Yes. In such cases, we use a film with more easily removable adhesive or markings on a separate plate. If you specifically need a magnetic sign, let us know your car make and surface dimensions — we'll assess it individually, as magnets don't work on plastic or curved doors.
What sizes should I choose for door markings and side numbers?
In practice, door markings with the company name and phone number fall within A5–A4, and side numbers are 10–15 cm high. Specific requirements for content and size vary by municipality and type of transport, so before printing, please check the text against your licensing authority's rules — we adjust the artwork free of charge before approval.
Do you produce a single set for one car?
Yes, we also work with orders of just 1 piece. The price per set for a single car is higher, as the setup fee isn't spread out; ordering 10 or more cars at once significantly reduces the price per car.
What's better for driver polo shirts — embroidery or printing?
For polo shirts and jackets, we recommend embroidery up to 90×90 mm: it withstands frequent washing and looks professional. For T-shirts and hoodies in large runs, screen printing is more cost-effective, while for 5–30 pcs with a multicolour logo, DTF transfer works better.
How quickly can I get a quote and a finished order?
We send a quote with prices, printing area and turnaround time for each item within one business day. Stickers and cabin information are ready in 1–3 business days, while clothing and promotional products with a logo usually take 6–10 business days.
