Thermal Bottles with Logo: Comparing 350, 500 and 750 ml
How to choose the right capacity of thermal bottles with logo for a corporate gift: a comparison of 350, 500 and 750 ml by weight, size, heat retention and price.

Thermal bottles with logo are most commonly ordered in three capacities: 350 ml (one coffee, ~220–300 g empty, comfortable to hold and fits a bag's side pocket), 500 ml (the most universal option for office and sport, ~300–380 g) and 750 ml (for travel, workouts and outdoor work, ~450–550 g). The price per piece at 100 pcs starts from around €4.43 for a 350 ml plastic thermal mug from our catalogue, and from around €9–14 for a 500 ml double-wall stainless steel bottle; all prices are excl. VAT and depend on quantity, material and logo printing.
How to choose the capacity
Capacity determines not only how much liquid fits, but also the weight, height, and whether the bottle fits a car cup holder or the side pocket of a backpack. In practice, the choice comes down to this:

- 350 ml — for coffee and tea. Suitable for offices, conferences, cafés, and as a small gift at an event. Most models fit a standard cup holder and under a coffee machine's spout.
- 500 ml — the most frequently chosen capacity for corporate gifts. Enough for a working day, the weight is still comfortable, and there's enough space on the body for a logo and slogan.
- 750 ml — for sports clubs, construction, logistics, outdoor events. You won't need to refill it several times a day, but it's heavier and doesn't always fit a car cup holder.
What to give to whom
For office staff, 350–500 ml usually works best; for manufacturing and outdoor work, 500–750 ml. If the gift is meant for clients and sent by post, keep in mind that a 750 ml bottle significantly increases the shipment's weight and packaging size.

Material: steel or plastic
Double-wall stainless steel with vacuum insulation keeps temperature best and looks more premium, but costs 2–3 times more than a plastic thermal mug. Plastic models with a double wall are lighter, cheaper, and offer wider printing options — including 360° digital printing over the entire body, which usually isn't done on steel.

If your budget is around €5 per piece, a realistic option is a 350 ml plastic thermal mug with full-colour printing. If the goal is a gift that will last for years, choose steel in 500 or 750 ml.
Logo printing and artwork preparation
The most common options are: 360° digital printing (full-colour, over the entire body), screen printing on round surfaces (1–4 colours, lower setup cost for large runs), laser engraving on steel (single colour, very durable) and in-mould printing for selected models.
Please send your logo as a vector file (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), colours in CMYK or Pantone, and raster images at 300 dpi. We always confirm the artwork by e-mail before production, and on request we prepare a 3D mock-up with your logo on the chosen bottle. Frequently asked questions
Which capacity is most popular for corporate gifts?
500 ml. It's a compromise between weight and volume, suitable for both office and sport. 350 ml is chosen if the gift is mainly for coffee, and 750 ml for outdoor work and workouts.
How long does a thermal bottle keep its temperature?
A double-wall steel bottle of 500 ml typically keeps a hot drink warm for 6–10 hours and a cold drink cold for 12–20 hours. Plastic thermal mugs retain heat for a shorter time — usually 2–4 hours — so they're meant for coffee on the go rather than for the whole day.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Catalogue prices start from 50 pcs, but we can also offer smaller quantities — in that case the setup fee has a bigger effect on the price per piece. We also do sublimation printing on mugs in-house from as little as 1 piece.
Can a full-colour logo with gradients be printed?
Yes, on plastic models with 360° digital printing — with no extra charge for the number of colours. On steel bottles, full-colour printing isn't available for all models; the alternative is single-colour laser engraving.
In what format should I send my logo?
As a vector file (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), colours in CMYK or Pantone. Raster images need at least 300 dpi at print size. The artwork is confirmed by e-mail before production.
Can I order different capacities in one order?
Yes. It's common for management and clients to get a 500 ml steel bottle, while the wider team gets a 350 ml thermal mug. If the same print file is used, the setup fee is usually calculated separately for each model.
