Water Bottles with Logo: Tritan, Steel or RPET Plastic

Water bottles with a logo are most commonly ordered in Latvia in three materials: stainless steel (the most durable, from EUR 2.37/pc at 100 pcs), Tritan (a transparent, impact-resistant plastic, from EUR 4.04/pc at 100 pcs) and RPET, i.e. recycled plastic (the lightest and cheapest option, from EUR 3.47/pc at 100 pcs). If you need maximum lifespan and an engraving that never wears off, choose steel; if you need full-colour 360° printing with photo quality and a visible water level, choose Tritan or RPET. Three materials in brief

Stainless steel. A single-wall steel bottle (such as the Oregon range) is practically unbreakable, doesn't retain odours and looks great with laser engraving. A single-wall bottle doesn't hold temperature — water warms up the same way as in a plastic bottle, but a cold drink stays cool longer in summer than in thin plastic. If you need heat retention, that's already a thermal bottle with vacuum insulation (double-wall).

Tritan. A sturdy, transparent, BPA-free copolymer. Its main advantage — it looks like glass but doesn't shatter when dropped, and withstands the dishwasher without clouding. Tritan bottles are typically used by sports clubs and teams where a visible water level matters.

RPET and recycled plastic. The lightest and most budget-friendly option — a good choice for large print runs, events, running races, school and municipal projects. • 360° digital printing — a full-colour image all around the bottle, no extra charge per colour. Suitable for plastic, Tritan and steel; a good choice if the logo has gradients or a photo.
• Screen printing on round surfaces — 1–4 colours, durable and economical for large quantities. The standard solution for sports bottles.
• Laser engraving — metal only. The result never wears off or fades, but there's only one colour: the metal's natural tone beneath the coating.

• Office and everyday carrying in a bag — steel, 400–750 ml with a screw cap and carabiner. No risk of leaking, no plastic taste.
• Conferences and large-attendance events — RPET, since at 250–500 pcs the price per piece drops the most.
• Client and partner gifts — a thermal bottle with engraving; smaller print runs, higher per-unit value.
• Schools and municipalities — RPET or Tritan with 1–2 colour screen printing, to keep within budget while getting a clearly legible logo.

Files, deadlines and artwork approval

Please send your logo as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), colours in CMYK or Pantone; raster images need at least 300 dpi. On plastic and steel, the smallest legible text is around 5 pt, so we tend to slightly thicken very fine lines before production and will inform you of this.

Frequently asked questions

Which material is the most durable?

Stainless steel. It doesn't break, doesn't scratch as easily as plastic, and with laser engraving the logo stays intact for the whole lifetime of the bottle. The downside — the bottle is heavier and the water level isn't visible.

Is Tritan safe for hot drinks?

Tritan withstands hot water and dishwasher washing, but it's not a thermos — the drink cools down quickly. For hot coffee or tea, choose a thermal mug or a vacuum-insulated bottle.

What's the minimum order quantity?

Can you print a full-colour logo with a photo?

Yes, with 360° digital printing, which allows gradients and photos with no extra charge per colour. Screen printing is more cost-effective if the logo is in 1–2 colours and the print run is large.

Will the printing withstand the dishwasher?

Laser engraving on metal — yes. Digital printing and screen printing are durable, but over the long term dishwashing will wear them down, so manufacturers recommend hand washing or the top rack only.

Can I see how the logo will look on the bottle?
