Guest house branded products: towels, mugs, signage, cards
A practical guide for guest house owners: which branded products actually work, which materials suit damp rooms, indicative prices and lead times of 1–10 business days.

Branded guest house products in practice fall into two groups: items guests pick up and hold (towels, mugs, information cards), and items that quietly do their job on the wall (signage, door stickers, WiFi cards). For a small guest house with 5–8 rooms, a base set usually costs around 150–400 EUR excl. VAT, and most of it is a one-off investment that lasts several years. We produce our own printed items — stickers, cards, posters — in 1–3 business days, while promotional products with printing typically take 6–10 business days.
What guests notice in the first hour
The first hour after arrival determines how many questions the owner will have to answer by phone afterwards. In practice, four things bring the most benefit: a clear sign at the entrance and car park, a card on the table with the WiFi password and contacts, mugs in the kitchen, and towels with an embroidered logo in the bathroom.
It's important not to spend the budget on things guests don't use. A pen instead of a notebook by the bed, an umbrella by the entrance, or a reflector as a small gift for the journey home works better than an expensive souvenir left on a shelf.
Indoor signage and stickers
Signage is the cheapest and fastest part. Indoors, stickers on PP film or vinyl are usually enough — they withstand wiping with a damp cloth and don't tear when removed.
A typical signage set
- Door numbers and room names — vinyl stickers 80×80 mm or 100×50 mm, also contour-cut to your shape.
- Instruction stickers — for the boiler, sauna stove, fireplace, washing machine; text in Latvian and English.
- Transparent stickers for glass doors and shower cubicles, metallised ones — for representative plaques.
- Waste sorting and household signs — waste sorting, "do not flush paper", direction to exit.
- Outdoor signage — laminated vinyl on a PVC board or a small banner by the road.
For damp rooms we always recommend laminated vinyl: without lamination, the print starts fading from steam and cleaning agents after just one season.
Cards, folders and information materials
Digital printing works well here for small quantities. The most popular formats:
- WiFi and contact card A6 or 85×55 mm, double-sided, 350 g card stock — one per room plus spares.
- Information folder — a 4–8 page booklet with check-in and check-out procedures, sauna use, breakfast times.
- Area map A4 or A5 marking trails, shops, the beach and distances — one of the most frequently photographed materials.
- Business cards for the owner, and gift vouchers for next season.
- Posters A4–A0 for events, if you host weddings or seminar rooms.
Tip: print the area map and prices separately from the rest of the booklet. Prices change every season, so you won't need to reprint everything.
Towels, mugs and thermal mugs
Towels with an embroidered logo (embroidery up to 90×90 mm) are one of the few items guests genuinely remember. Practically speaking: 450–500 g/m² cotton, a shade that withstands washing at 60 °C, and a logo in one colour on the border. Available from the towels category in our catalogue.
For mugs we use sublimation — full-colour printing, from 1 piece. White standard mugs are the cheapest option for the kitchen, but thermal mugs are better suited for sale at reception or as a gift for returning guests.
| Product | Printing | Indicative from | At what quantity |

Prices are indicative and excl. VAT. The exact price depends on quantity, number of colours and number of print locations — at 100 pieces, the price per unit usually drops by 20–40%.
Staff clothing
Even if just two people work at a guest house, a matching shirt with a logo solves a simple problem: guests know who to approach. For logo printing on clothing, standard locations are the left chest 110×90 mm, the back up to 280×210 mm, and the sleeve 80×60 mm. For cleaning and kitchen staff, DTF transfer or embroidery is better suited, as they withstand frequent washing.
How ordering works
Add the products to a request on the website, or simply write to us about what you need. Within one business day we send a quote online and a PDF with product images, prices, print location, setup fee and lead time for each item. On request, we prepare a 3D view with your logo so you can see how it looks on a mug or towel.
We expect files in vector format (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), CMYK, raster at 300 dpi. If you only have a logo from your website, let us know — we can usually redraw it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I order just one mug or a few stickers?
Yes. We print mugs with sublimation from 1 piece, and the same goes for stickers, cards and posters. Socks with a woven-in logo are the only exception — minimum quantity is 100 pairs.
How long do stickers in the bathroom and by the sauna last?
Laminated vinyl in a damp room usually looks good for 3–5 years. Near the sauna stove and in direct steam, the lifespan is shorter, so there we more often use a sign on a PVC board rather than a sticker on wood.
What lead times should I plan for before the season?
Our own printing — stickers, business cards, maps, posters — 1–3 business days. Promotional products with printing — 6–10 business days: production 4–7 days depending on quantity, plus delivery 2–3 days. Urgent jobs can be arranged by agreement.
How many colours is it best to use in a logo?
For embroidery on towels and caps, 1–2 colours are more practical — details blur together at small sizes anyway. For mugs and stickers, the number of colours doesn't affect the price, so you can use the full logo with gradients and photos there.
Can you put together the area map for us?
Yes, we can prepare the artwork based on the locations and distances you provide. The design work is listed separately in the quote, and you approve it by email before printing.
Can towels and mugs be reordered later in the same design?
Yes. We keep the artwork and print data on file, so for a repeat order there's no setup fee to pay again — you only need to agree on the quantity and lead time.
Write to us with how many rooms your guest house has and what you need most right now: info@attaprint.lv, +371 25776699 or WhatsApp on the same number. We prepare a quote with prices, print locations and lead times within one business day.
