Business Card Printing from 1 Set: Paper and Laminate Options
Business card printing from 1 set (100 pcs) – 25 EUR excl. VAT, from 3 sets 22 EUR per set. We explain paper thickness, laminate finishes and file requirements.

Business card printing with us starts from a single set: 100 pcs in 90x55 mm format on 300 g paper costs 25 EUR excl. VAT, but when ordering three sets or more, the price is 22 EUR per set (300 pcs – 66 EUR). The standard turnaround is 1–3 business days from artwork approval, and there are no set-up fees. This means a new business doesn't have to order 1000 cards straight away – you can print 100, test the design in practice, and then repeat the run.
Why a small batch is a logical starting point
For a new business, a lot changes in the first few months: an extra phone number, a new email address, a refined description of services, sometimes even the logo. If you've printed 1000 cards, all of them become outdated after a single change.
Digital printing doesn't require making printing plates, which is why 100 pcs makes economic sense. In practice, a typical scenario looks like this: 100 cards for the founder, another 100 for a sales colleague, and a repeat order a month later, once you know how the card performs in conversations. | 2 sets (200 pcs) | 25.00 | 50.00 |
| 3 sets (300 pcs) | 22.00 | 66.00 |
| 5 sets (500 pcs) | 22.00 | 110.00 |

Prices apply to double-sided or single-sided full-colour printing on standard 300 g paper in 90x55 mm format. Laminate, special paper stocks, rounded corners or non-standard formats are additional items – we provide an exact figure in our quote, as it depends on the batch size and finishing type. If you need several different designs (for example, one per employee), each design counts as a separate set.
Choosing the paper: thickness and surface
300 g/m² is the standard for business cards in Latvia. A lower thickness (250 g) feels thin and bends quickly in a pocket or card holder; thicker options (350–400 g or two laminated layers) are possible, but come with their own cost and longer turnaround.
Matte coated paper, 300 g
The most commonly chosen option. Colours are accurate, the surface doesn't shine, and text is easy to read. You can write on a matte surface with a regular pen – handy if you tend to note down a price or meeting time on the card.
Gloss coated paper, 300 g
A shiny surface that makes photos and dark tones look deeper. The downside: visible fingerprints and glare, plus you can't write on it with ink. Works well for restaurants, hairdressers, photographers – anywhere the card features an image.
Uncoated (offset/design) paper, 300 g
A natural, slightly rough surface with no coating. Suitable for minimalist designs, craft and food producers, consultants. Keep in mind: colours soak into the paper and appear 5–10% duller than on screen, so large dark areas aren't the best choice here.
Laminate: do you need it, and which type
Laminate is a thin film applied over the printed card. It offers two practical benefits: it protects the print from wear and changes the tactile feel.
| Finish | Look and feel | Suited for |
|---|---|---|
| No laminate | Natural paper, can be written on | Small batches, simple designs, budget |
| Matte laminate | No glare, velvety surface, thicker feel | Consultants, lawyers, premium positioning |
| Gloss laminate | Shiny, colours more vivid | Photo, food, children's products |
| Soft-touch | Very soft, rubberised surface | Brands where touch matters; the priciest option |
An important technical note: on a dark, solid background (black, dark blue), a matte or soft-touch laminated surface is sensitive to scratches – they show up lighter and visible. If your design is solid black across the whole area, it's safer to choose matte laminate over gloss, and to reorder more often in batches of 100 pcs if needed.
File requirements and artwork
To make sure the print turns out as planned, please prepare your file as follows:
- Format 90x55 mm plus 3 mm bleed on each side, i.e. 96x61 mm.
- Important elements – text, logo, icons – at least 4 mm from the edge.
- Colours in CMYK, not RGB. Black text – 100% K, not four-colour black.
- Vector graphics .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg; raster images at 300 dpi at actual size.
- Text size no smaller than 6 pt, as thin letter edges on a dark background can look uneven.
If you don't have a design file, send us your logo and text – we'll prepare the artwork and send it for approval by email. We only proceed to print after written artwork approval. For everything on formats and ordering, see the business cards page, and for examples of previous work, see our our work section.
Turnaround, collection and combining orders
Standard business cards are ready within 1–3 business days. If you need it faster, let us know right away in your request – urgent jobs can usually be arranged within a day, depending on workload. You can collect your order at our production site at Kandavas iela 29A, Riga, or have it delivered by courier within Riga for 16 EUR per trip.
Business cards are often ordered together with other materials – flyers, cards with a QR code, stickers for packaging, or an A2 poster for a shop. Combining them into one order is more convenient and cheaper in terms of delivery: for example, an A2 poster on 200 g paper is 6 EUR per piece, from 10 pcs – 4.50 EUR, while laminated stickers start from 24 EUR/m².
Frequently asked questions
Can I really order just 100 business cards?
Yes. One set is 100 pcs and costs 25 EUR excl. VAT, with no set-up fee. From 3 sets, the price drops to 22 EUR per set.
What paper is standard, and is it thick enough?
The standard is 300 g/m² – the usual business card thickness that doesn't bend during everyday use. We don't recommend going thinner than 300 g for business cards.
Is laminate required?
No. Without laminate, the card is fully functional and cheaper. We recommend laminate if the design has dark areas, if the cards will spend a long time in a pocket, or if the tactile feel matters.
How long does it take?
1–3 business days from artwork approval. Urgent jobs – by arrangement, usually faster.
Can you create a design if I only have a logo?
Yes. Send us your logo in vector format and the text (name, position, phone, email, website, QR code), and we'll prepare the artwork for approval.
Can I print several different designs in one order?
Yes. Each design is counted as a separate set, but delivery and processing happen in one go.
Send your logo and text to info@attaprint.lv, call us, or message us on WhatsApp at +371 25776699 – we'll prepare a quote with paper and laminate options within one business day. Contact details and working hours: see our Contacts page.
