Business Card Prices: How Much Do 100, 500 and 1000 Business Cards Cost

Business cards at Atta Print start from 25.00 EUR per set of 100 pieces (90x55 mm, 300 g paper, excl. VAT), and when you order three sets or more, the price drops to 22.00 EUR per 100 pcs. That means: 500 business cards cost around 110 EUR, 1000 business cards around 220 EUR. There's no set-up fee — if your file is correct, you only pay for printing.

Below is an indicative price list for standard business cards, 90x55 mm on 300 g paper. All prices exclude VAT, one set = 100 pcs.

These prices are indicative and apply to the standard format, paper and one design per set. The exact amount depends on quantity, paper, finishing, and how many different designs you need within one order.

What affects the price

• Multiple designs. If one order needs 10 different personalised cards at 100 pcs each, that's not the same as 1000 pcs with a single design — each design is a separate set, and the price is calculated per set.
• Non-standard format. Square, narrow or larger cards change paper usage and are calculated separately.
• Paper and finishing. Thicker paper, matte or gloss laminate, rounded corners, soft-touch — each extra finishing option adds to the base price.
• Double-sided printing and special requirements. We confirm these in the quote, as they depend on the design and paper used.

Why 100 pcs costs more per card

In digital printing, most of the cost comes from setup, the paper sheet, the print start and cutting. These steps are almost identical whether you print 100 or 1000 cards, so with a small run they're spread over fewer pieces. From three sets (300 pcs) onwards, the costs are already spread thin enough, and the price settles at the 0.22 EUR per piece level.

Practical takeaway: if you need 200 business cards, it's often more cost-effective to order 300 — you'll pay 66 EUR instead of 50 EUR, but you'll get 100 more cards and a lower price per piece. We also produce smaller runs — we can even make a single piece if you need a sample.

How long you'll need to wait

With a ready, correct file, we usually produce standard business cards in 3–5 business days. If the order includes laminating, rounded corners or other extra finishing, the lead time can extend to 7–10 business days. Urgent jobs can be arranged by agreement — before planning an event or exhibition, let us know straight away by what date you need the cards.

How to prepare your file to avoid a redo

Most delays come not from printing, but from files. To avoid a second round:

• Send vector graphics: .ai, .eps or .pdf with embedded or outlined fonts.
• Colour mode — CMYK. RGB files print darker and duller, especially bright blues and greens.
• Format 90x55 mm plus 3 mm bleed on each side if the background or colour runs to the edge of the card.
• Keep important text and logos at least 4 mm from the edge — the cutting tolerance is a few tenths of a millimetre, and text right at the edge looks uneven.
• Raster images (photos, textures) need at least 300 dpi at actual size.
