Corporate Christmas gifts: order schedule for October

If you're planning corporate Christmas gifts, October is the right time to order: promotional products with logo printing from our catalogue are usually ready in 6–10 business days (production 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus delivery 2–3 days), but these lead times grow in early December as production gets busier. A practical rule of thumb: print runs over 300 pieces and jobs with embroidery or a woven logo need to be confirmed by the end of October, standard orders of 50–200 pieces by 20 November, while in-house printing (stickers, cards, calendars) is still possible in December within 1–3 business days.

Why October, not November

In October, warehouses still have a full range of colours and sizes in stock. In the second half of November, the most popular items — black and grey hoodies, insulated jackets, thermal mugs — often run out of specific sizes or colours, meaning you'd need to switch models or split the order into two deliveries.

The second reason is artwork approval. On average, it takes 2–5 business days from the first enquiry to an approved artwork file: we send a quote with product photos, prices, print area, set-up fee and lead time for each item within one business day, but this is usually followed by fine-tuning the logo file, choosing colours or sizes, and internal approval on the client's side. In October there's room in the schedule for these days; in December there no longer is.

How to put together a gift basket by budget

Up to EUR 5 per employee

Beanie, pen, notebook, keyring, reflector. In this segment, printing is usually 1 colour, and the price per piece drops noticeably at 100+ pcs.

EUR 5–20

Thermal mug or sports bottle, tote bag, towel, T-shirt or polo shirt with logo printing. For mugs and thermal mugs we use sublimation for full-colour images, and for textiles — screen printing or DTF transfer.

EUR 20 and up

Hoodie with embroidery, insulated jacket, backpack, a tech gift or a boxed set. Smaller quantities are most often ordered here — for management, partners or annual awards.

A separate category is socks with a woven logo from 100 pairs: the logo is woven in rather than printed on, so the setup and production take longer — these need to be ordered in October.

Files and artwork approval

Send your logo as vector graphics: .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg, colours in CMYK. If you only have a raster image, it needs to be 300 dpi at the actual print size. A JPG from a website or a PNG from a presentation usually won't work for embroidery or screen printing.

Standard print areas for clothing: left chest 110×90 mm, front and back up to 280×210 mm, sleeve 80×60 mm, embroidery up to 90×90 mm. On request, we prepare a 3D mock-up with your logo so you can see the proportions before production. The artwork must be approved by email — the production lead time starts from that point.

Three mistakes that push the schedule back

1. The size list hasn't been collected. Clothing needs a breakdown by size and gender-specific models. Tip: send out a survey to the team already in the first half of October.
2. Only one version of the logo. On dark fabric or a coloured mug, you often need a single-colour or reversed logo variant.
3. Packaging forgotten. If the gifts need to be handed out individually, plan ahead for tote bags, boxes or stickers with a logo and names — we print these in 1–3 business days, including die-cut shapes.
