Pharmacy Print Materials and Branded Products: A Guide
What a pharmacy actually needs: shelf price tags, information leaflets, paper and tote bags, branded first aid kits. Approximate prices, deadlines and file requirements.

Pharmacy print materials usually fall into four groups: shelf price tags and signage (digital printing, 1–3 business days), information leaflets and flyers about promotions or consultations, labels for packaging and containers, and branded products for customer programmes and staff. A small pharmacy usually needs just one order covering 3–4 items; for a chain, we typically put together a repeatable set with fixed formats so every location receives identical materials. Our own printing is ready in 1–3 business days, while branded promotional products take 6–10 business days.
What pharmacies order most often
Working with pharmaceutical retail, the request list repeats itself fairly consistently:

- Shelf price tags in A7, A6 or a custom size (for example, 70×40 mm), on 250–300 g card, often with a blank space to write in the price by hand.
- Promotion signage and wobblers for shelves, laminated to withstand regular repositioning.
- Information leaflets and flyers — about the vaccination season, blood pressure checks, a vitamin D course, or a loyalty programme.
- Labels with ingredients, instructions for use, or translations — especially when the pharmacy assembles its own cosmetics or supplement sets.
- Paper and tote bags with the pharmacy's logo, plus cards and business cards for pharmacists.
- Branded products: first aid kits, towels, health-category small items, and staff clothing.
Shelf price tags and labels
Price tags are usually digitally printed on 300 g card and laminated as needed — matte laminate doesn't reflect under pharmacy lighting and avoids glare in the display case. If the tags are meant to be written on with a marker, choose an unlaminated surface or a special matte laminate.
On the labels side, two things are needed most often. First, sheet-fed paper labels for marking packaging and re-pricing. Second, PP film or transparent labels for bottles, jars and sets exposed to moisture. Contour cutting lets you cut the shape to match a logo or symbol rather than just a rectangle. You'll find all the options in the stickers section — it also includes ingredient, instruction and translation labels, which are essential for pharmacies that assemble their own products.
Leaflets, flyers and cards
For information materials, an A5 flyer (one topic, one promotion) or an A4 leaflet folded once to A5 usually works best if more text is needed — for example, a dosage schedule or a list of questions before a consultation. For loyalty cards, we use 350 g card, with rounded corners if required.

Important: if the text includes information about prescription medicines or health claims, the content must be approved by the pharmacy's responsible pharmacist before printing. We print what's in the approved artwork, so we always send the artwork for approval by email. See formats and paper options in the digital printing and business cards section.
Branded products for pharmacies
Pharmacies do well with gifts connected to their core business. A first aid kit with the pharmacy's logo stays at home or in the car for years — it's one of the few promotional products with real, ongoing use value. Alongside that, pharmacies order towels, tote bags, sports bottles and health-category small items; you can browse the full range in the branded promotional products section.
For staff clothing, the standard solution is polo shirts or jackets with embroidery on the left chest (up to 90×90 mm) or a DTF transfer (chest 110×90 mm, back up to 280×210 mm) — more details in the clothing printing section.

These figures are approximate for the Latvian market; the final price depends on quantity, paper, number of print colours and number of print locations. For promotional products, production takes 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus 2–3 days for delivery; urgent jobs can be arranged by agreement.
Files and preparation
Send your logo as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg) — this is needed for both screen printing and embroidery. For print artwork we use CMYK, 300 dpi for raster images, plus a 2–3 mm bleed. If you don't have artwork ready, we'll prepare it based on your text and logo; on request, we can also add a 3D preview showing the logo on the actual product.
For pharmacies with multiple locations, we recommend fixing the format list upfront (price tags, signage, bag size) — then repeat orders can be placed without new artwork and processed faster.
FAQ
Can we order a small quantity, for example, 50 price tags?
Yes. In digital printing we work from 1 piece upwards, so 50 price tags or 20 cards is not a problem. For small quantities, the price per piece is higher, since the setup work is the same regardless of quantity.
How long will it take to receive branded first aid kits?
Usually 6–10 business days: 4–7 business days for production with printing, depending on quantity, and 2–3 days for delivery. If you need it sooner, we'll suggest models that can be printed faster.
Can you print labels with ingredients and translations in Latvian?
Yes, that's one of our most common tasks. We print ingredient, instruction-for-use and translation labels on sheets or rolls; the customer is responsible for the text complying with regulations, while we print the approved artwork.
Which labels will hold up against moisture on bottles?
Use PP film or vinyl labels — they don't tear from moisture and are more resistant to friction than paper. Transparent film looks great on glass and transparent packaging.
Will the quote show prices for different quantities?
Yes. In the online quote and the PDF file, each item includes a product image, price by quantity, print location and method, setup fee and deadline.
