T-shirts with printing, 100 pcs, currently cost from around 4.46 EUR per piece if you choose a 155 g/m² cotton T-shirt (2.21 EUR/pc at 100 pcs) with single-colour screen printing in one position (1.90 EUR/pc + 35 EUR setup, totalling 2.25 EUR/pc). With full-colour DTF printing up to A4, the same order costs around 6.41 EUR/pc, and with embroidery up to 10,000 stitches — 6.26 EUR/pc. All prices are excl. VAT and indicative — the final amount depends on the T-shirt model, number of colours in the design and number of print positions.

Printing cost for 100 T-shirts by technology

Below are just the printing costs for 100 pieces, in one position (for example, left chest 110×90 mm or front up to 280×210 mm). The T-shirt price is added separately.

Where the line is between DTF and screen printing

Screen printing has a setup fee of 35 EUR per colour (frame production), but a low price per piece, so it quickly becomes cost-effective as the quantity grows. DTF has no setup fee, so it's cheaper for small batches.

In practice, for a single-colour logo, the breakpoint is around 30–40 pieces: below that — DTF, above — screen printing. At 100 pieces, single-colour screen printing is nearly twice as cheap as DTF, while for a photographic or multi-colour design, DTF remains the only sensible option. 2–3 colours and two positions

In screen printing, each additional colour means another frame and another print run: roughly +35 EUR setup per colour and +1.20–1.60 EUR/pc at 100 pieces. A two-colour logo on 100 T-shirts therefore realistically costs around 3.6–4.0 EUR/pc for printing. A second position (for example, a small logo on the chest + a larger one on the back) is calculated as a separate print. With DTF, the number of colours doesn't affect the price at all — only the area size matters.

What else to plan for in your budget

• Size breakdown. 100 pieces are usually split across S–XXL. The split doesn't change the price, but needs to be specified in the order; XXL and larger sizes carry a small surcharge for some models.
• Multiple T-shirt colours. In screen printing, the same stencil works for all colours if the artwork doesn't change; if a white base is needed on dark T-shirts, an extra print run is added.
• Print positions. Standard sizes: left chest 110×90 mm, front and back up to 280×210 mm, sleeve 80×60 mm, embroidery up to 90×90 mm.
• Files. Screen printing needs vector artwork (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg) with specified colours; for DTF we also accept 300 dpi CMYK raster files. We confirm the artwork by email before production.

Printing on 100 T-shirts usually takes 4–7 business days from artwork approval; including delivery of goods to the production facility and dispatch to the client — 6–10 business days. If the T-shirts are already in stock or the client brings their own, we can complete single-colour screen printing for 100 pieces in 2–4 business days. Frequently asked questions

How much exactly do 100 T-shirts with one logo cost?

With a 155 g/m² cotton T-shirt and single-colour screen printing in one position — around 446 EUR excl. VAT, that's 4.46 EUR per piece, including 35 EUR setup. With DTF, the same set costs around 641 EUR.

When is DTF more cost-effective than screen printing?

Up to around 30–40 pieces, and always when the design has more than 2–3 colours, colour gradients or a photograph. At 100 pieces, DTF is no longer economical for a single-colour logo.

Do I have to pay the setup fee again on a repeat order?

If the design and colours don't change and not too much time has passed between orders, we can reuse the screen printing frames — then the 35 EUR setup fee is waived. For embroidery, we keep the digitised programme (25 EUR) and don't charge for it again.

Can the 100 T-shirts be in different sizes and colours?

Yes. You can split the sizes S–XXL freely. Multiple T-shirt colours usually don't change the price, as long as everyone has the same print design.

Can you print on T-shirts we already have?

Yes, we also work with garments brought in by the client. In this case, you only pay for the printing, but we ask for 2–3 spare pieces and prior agreement on the fabric — synthetic and membrane materials have their own limitations.

How long will this kind of print withstand washing?

Both screen printing and DTF, washed inside-out at 30–40°C, will withstand dozens of washes. Embroidery practically doesn't fade and is the most durable option for polo shirts and workwear.
