Mugs with Logo for Offices and Cafés: Ordering Guide

We print mugs with logo in two ways: ceramic mugs and thermal mugs with sublimation from as little as 1 piece, or catalogue thermal mugs with 360° digital printing or screen printing from 50 pieces, where prices start at around EUR 5.00/pc and drop to around EUR 4.43/pc at 100 pieces (excl. VAT). The standard lead time for printed catalogue products is 6–10 business days, while printing on individual sublimation mugs is usually done within 1–3 business days. Ceramic or thermal mug: which to choose

If the mugs stay indoors – in the office kitchen, café bar, conference room – a classic ceramic mug with sublimation printing is usually the better choice. It's the cheapest full-colour option for small quantities (from 1 pc), holds up well to hand washing, and allows a full-colour image with no extra charge for the number of colours.

A thermal mug with a lid is the right choice if staff or guests take their coffee with them – from the office to a meeting, from the café onto the street. In practice, cafés often order both types: ceramic mugs for use on-site and thermal mugs for sale or a loyalty programme with a discount for bringing your own mug.

Volumes and everyday use

The most common volume for offices and catering is 350 ml – it matches a large coffee and fits through a standard coffee machine opening. 650 ml bottles are better suited to sports clubs and outdoor events rather than the table.

Quantities and indicative prices

The prices below are from our catalogue, excl. VAT, with printing in one position. The exact price depends on quantity, printing method and number of colours; the quote for each item also includes the one-off setup fee.

Sublimation printing on ceramic and thermal mugs in small quantities is a separate item: for 1–5 pieces, expect around EUR 9–14/pc, while for 25–50 pieces the price usually drops to around EUR 6–8/pc. These are indicative figures for the Latvian market – we give you an exact price once the model and image are chosen.

Printing methods and what they mean in practice

Sublimation – full-colour image on ceramic or specially coated mugs, cost-effective from 1 piece, great for photos and gradients.

Screen printing for round surfaces – one to three colours, a dense, durable layer of colour. Suited to simple logos; each additional colour adds to the setup fee.

360° digital printing – the image wraps around the whole body, so you can use photos and many colours without a separate charge for each one. A good fit for cafés wanting an expressive design with menu elements or a QR code.

In-mould printing (Brite-Americano® grande) – the image sits beneath the surface layer, so it doesn't wear off from everyday washing.

Files, artwork and logo placement

Please send your logo as vector graphics (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg). A raster image needs at least 300 dpi at actual size and the CMYK colour mode. If you only have a PNG from your website, let us know – we can often redraw the logo in vector format.

On request, we prepare a 3D preview with your logo on the chosen mug, so you can see the proportions before production. The artwork must always be approved by email – products only go into production after approval. Lead times and planning

For printed catalogue mugs, the standard lead time is 6–10 business days: production 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus 2–3 days for delivery. Sublimation mugs from our workshop at Kandavas iela 29A are usually ready within 1–3 business days.

If you need mugs by a specific date – for a new café opening, a conference, or Christmas gift sets – it's best to send your request at least three weeks in advance. We can take on urgent jobs by separate arrangement if the chosen model is in stock.

Frequently asked questions

What's the minimum order quantity?

We do sublimation printing on ceramic and thermal mugs from 1 piece. For catalogue thermal mugs and bottles, the minimum is usually 50 pieces, due to the economics of print setup.

Can the mugs be washed in a dishwasher?

We recommend hand-washing sublimation ceramic mugs so the image lasts longer. Some plastic thermal mugs are dishwasher-safe – we state this for the specific model in the quote.

How many colours can the logo be printed in?

With 360° digital printing, you can print a full-colour image at no extra charge per colour. With screen printing, 1–3 colours is the most cost-effective option, and each additional colour increases the setup fee.

Can I order different body colours in one order?

Yes. The Americano® 350 ml is available in 41 colours, and the Americano® Eco in 34 colours. If you split the quantity across colours, the price is calculated per colour batch separately.

How long does it take to get a price quote?

We send a quote within one business day – online and as a PDF with product photos, prices, print area, setup fee and lead time for each item.

Can you also print other items for a café?

Yes – aprons, T-shirts, polo shirts, product stickers, menus and posters. Orders are often a bundle: mugs plus stickers for product labelling.
