Mug printing with full-colour sublimation starts at around EUR 12 for a single white ceramic mug 330 ml (mug + printing, excl. VAT) and drops to around EUR 5.60 per piece at 250 pieces. There's no setup fee for sublimation, so even a single mug is a realistic order — the difference comes only from the mug's purchase price at volume and the machine setup time per piece. The figures below are indicative; we confirm the exact price once we know the mug model, quantity and print coverage.
Mug printing price by quantity
The table below shows a standard white ceramic mug 330 ml with full-colour sublimation printing on one or both sides. Prices excl. VAT, mug and printing included.

The steepest price drop happens between 1 and 50 pieces. After 100 pieces the curve flattens — from 100 to 250 pieces, the per-piece price drops by only around a further 10%. If you're planning gifts for staff or clients, the most cost-effective threshold in practice is usually 50–100 pieces: the price is already close to the minimum, but you don't need to store a large leftover batch.
What affects the final price
- Mug model. The white ceramic mug is the cheapest base. A mug with a coloured interior or handle, matte finish, cone shape, or larger capacity is usually EUR 0.50–1.50/pc more expensive.
- Print coverage. One side or both sides in sublimation cost almost the same; a full wrap-around image requires more preparation and is slightly more expensive.
- Personalisation. If each mug has a different name or image, we add artwork preparation time — usually EUR 0.30–0.80/pc depending on file quality.
- Packaging. An individual cardboard box or gift packaging — from around EUR 0.80/pc.
- Delivery. Courier delivery in Riga — EUR 16.00 per trip; for regions we calculate based on parcel locker or courier tariff.
Ceramic mug or thermal mug
These are two very different price categories that are often confused. A ceramic mug is the typical office or gift mug with full-colour sublimation printing. A thermal mug is a metal vessel with a lid, where printing is most often UV printing or laser engraving, and the item itself costs more.

Print area and files
The usable print area on a standard ceramic mug is approximately 200×90 mm, allowing for roughly 20 mm next to the handle that remains free. If the logo needs to go on both sides, allow around 85×85 mm per area.
A vector file is preferred for artwork — .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg, CMYK colours. Raster images need 300 dpi at actual size; lower resolution is immediately visible as blurred edges in sublimation. Note that sublimation is a transparent technology: white is not printed as a colour, it's simply the mug's base colour, so white elements cannot be produced on a dark-coloured mug.
Turnaround times
We print mugs in-house at our production facility at Kandavas iela 29A, so if the chosen model is in stock, the turnaround is 1–3 business days after artwork approval. One or a few mugs can often be ready the same or next day.
If the mug is ordered from a catalogue (a specific colour, shape, or thermal mug model), the overall turnaround is usually 6–10 business days: production and printing take 4–7 business days depending on quantity, plus 2–3 days for delivery. Urgent jobs are handled by agreement.
