Paper Bags with Logo: Price, Minimum Quantity and Lead Time

Paper bags with a logo start from EUR 0.15/pc at 100 pcs for the bag itself (Kraft paper 70–90 g/m², size 25×11×32 cm), and with a single-colour logo print you should budget around EUR 0.55–0.75/pc at 100 pcs or EUR 0.25–0.35/pc at 1000 pcs. The minimum quantity is 100 pcs, and the usual lead time is 6–10 business days (production 4–7 business days + delivery 2–3 days). Prices are excl. VAT and indicative — the final amount depends on the size, paper thickness, number of print colours and quantity.

What makes up the price

The final price of a paper bag consists of three parts, and it's worth looking at them separately:

• Bag cost — depends on size and paper weight. A 25×11×32 cm bag costs from EUR 0.15/pc, while the large 49.5×14×44 cm one with 90/100 g/m² paper costs from EUR 0.29/pc (both at 100 pcs).
• Printing work — screen printing, one colour layer at a time. The larger the run, the lower the printing price per piece: according to our price list, screen printing in 1 colour is EUR 3.50/pc for small quantities, EUR 2.50 from 50 pcs, EUR 1.90 from 100 pcs and EUR 1.50 from 250 pcs — on paper bags in large runs (500–1000 pcs) the printing cost drops to around EUR 0.10–0.20/pc.
• Setup — making the screen printing stencil costs around EUR 35.00 per colour, a one-off charge. For a repeat order with the same logo, this usually doesn't need to be paid again.

That's why at 100 pcs the setup fee makes up a large share of the total, while at 1000 pcs it's barely noticeable.

Prices are excl. VAT and indicative. A second print colour adds another setup fee plus approximately 30–50% to the printing cost; full-colour (photographic) printing on a bag is more expensive and often doesn't pay off for small runs.

Minimum quantity

For paper bags with printing, the minimum is 100 pcs — this is related to the screen printing setup — and it's economically justified only if the logo is simple, in 1–2 colours.

If you need fewer, for example 20–50 bags for an event, it's more practical to order plain Kraft bags and stick a printed sticker with your logo on them. Sticker printing costs from EUR 17.60/m² (standard print) or EUR 24.00/m² with contour cutting, so a round 60 mm sticker comes to just a few cents, with no setup fee at all. This option is often chosen by cafés and small shops for seasonal decoration.

Lead times

The lead time starts counting from artwork approval by email, not from the initial request. If the bags are needed for a specific date — Christmas, an exhibition, a shop opening — allow at least an extra week's buffer.

How to choose the size and paper

The starting point is the product that will go inside the bag. A café with a bakery usually manages fine with 25×11×32 cm or 25×15×32 cm; a clothing shop will find 32×17×39 cm or 34×18×35 cm more convenient; for conferences and gift sets — 45×16×48 cm.

Paper weight 70–80 g/m² is sufficient for light contents (up to ~2 kg), while 90–100 g/m² suits books, bottles and several items together. Handles: flat paper handles are cheaper and neutral, while twisted (rope) handles look more upscale and hold weight better.

Files for printing

The logo should be in vector format — .ai, .eps, .pdf or .svg, with colours in CMYK or specified as exact shades. For raster images, at least 300 dpi. On Kraft paper, remember that the background is brown and light colours appear darker on it — that's why we most often print a single colour: white, black or your company's main brand colour. What is the minimum order?

100 pcs with printing. For smaller quantities, we offer plain bags with printed stickers — this has no minimum and no setup fee.

Can the logo be printed in two colours?

Yes. Each additional colour means another setup fee (about EUR 35) and a slightly higher printing cost per piece. At 100 pcs, two colours usually don't pay off; at 500–1000 pcs the difference is already small.

How long does it take?

Are the bags recyclable?

Yes, all Kraft bags in our catalogue are made of recyclable paper, 70–100 g/m². This is one of the reasons shops choose them over plastic bags.
